How do you go about learning music theory if you did. Because i want to make really cool artcore music but music theory is so wierd to me so i want to know how you learned it.
I did not learn music theories, I simply repeated practicing writing chords until I became good at it. Of course it would be faster if you learn it, but unless you’re writing jazz or some crazy harmonic things, listening to lot of songs and analyzing their chords can improve your chord progression skills!
@@uranus20tutorials ok thank you.
Is there any tips you have for writing melodies as well.
Melody is all about catching the inspiration. Staring on a monitor for hours doesn’t help you write a good melody, so it’s important to focus on when your creativity pops up. It can be when taking a shower or driving a car, no matter which circumstances you’re in, capture the exact moment of the inspiration! I’m sorry I can’t explain it in objective ways, but this is how I come up with melodies.
@@uranus20tutorials ok thank you.
