A lot of people don't get it. MWTM is the most phenomenal mixing/engineering site in the world. These series can be up to 4 hours long. The producers/mixers are the cream of the crop from around the globe. Best money I ever spent!
Quite a positive review considering your name! But I completely agree, people complain about the cost but it's an investment in self and much more affordable than college tuition.
I've heard RAM on a lot of low and high quality system. It never sounded awful. It's not just one of the best produced but also one of the best engineered albums ever.
Very interesting to see him mixing inside of Ableton. I always thought past v10, with the updated Utility, Ableton was starting to shine in the mixing realm. Great video!
Pro Tools is great, but we’re at the point now with plug ins where you can get a solid mix on any DAW really, pretty much everyone where I’m from mixes on Logic, as well as a lot of Ableton guys as well
@@jwizdum2103 Logic is a great thing because it allows DAW access to a wide variety of home studios. It's no longer an exclusive thing. I will always primarily use Pro Tools because I've been trained on it, but I agree that the other DAWs can do just as well. But the efficiency of audio editing is top notch in PT imo.
@@RDstar75 Primarily, it was the addition of the Bass Mono. It really cleans up the mix in terms of mid/side processing, and is so efficient to use. Same concept as the Brainworx 'Mono Maker'.
Ive got a question for all of you guys here,I saw the Alone again lessons, and have yet to watch this but... I use FL studio primarily, was thinking of trying ableton out. FL is a CPU hog. It would crash with a project like this, how does he utilize SO many plugins on just one bus? In alone again he must have used 15 effects on one sound. FL allows ten slots, but I can barely chain effects without freezing/consolidating tracks. Can ableton handle large projects better? or allow an endless plugin chain? FL has patcher, but it doesnt save CPU

The Weeknd & Illangelo are a match made in heaven.
Amen❤
This guy's work in Trilogy is just perfect
Something I learned. Soothe is industry standard and its so refreshing to see something other than Pro Tools for once.
Yea, about time I picked up Soothe for sure.
Honestly I’ve always hated Pro Tools’ interface and would take just about anything new. I wish Cool Edit would come back 😂

But i also love MWTM !
Unbelievable song. Unbelievable production and ear for a specific sound by this man. Hope to keep seeing him and Abel working together in the future.
i think its safe to say AFTER HOURS is one of the best produced songs;album ever
