Do you wait for the clay to dry before all the painting?

Do you let the clay dry on the ornament before starting to paint?

Your ornaments are beautiful but I wish you would share where we can get the clay molds that you use.

They are( iron orchid design). I do believe that one was when they were with Prima in the beginning. Over 10 yrs ago. You can find similar designs other places. BUT, iod has the best quality.

Thank you for your reply. I found the mold, ordered it and have received it already. You are right IOD molds are great quality. What a difference in them and others.

You'll have to look online, as I have been, and I'm on the United States. I did see retailers in the UK. I've not found rice paper in any stores. I did pic up molds that are for fondant, baking... But I haven't tried them out yet. There are videos for making molds with construction silicone, so that may be something you can try..😊. I watch a gal in eastern Europe, inspirations of the soul. Just found her. Very elegant work, similar to this. Cheers!

Hi Iris.... Nancy here... it is no like a ball more flat/oval if that makes sense. You can buy them in hobby stores or even Dollar stores here in the states
