it doesnt really matter but at 11:59 you said the warrior drew patches but a patches came from the deck already that game I think a sky raider just gave them another patches which honesty wtf sky raider
I think a great change to Guff would be to make him 4 mana and read, "Whenever you cast a nature spell, give your other minions +1/+1". It would be super interesting to see it in a spell oaken summons deck and would make him a playable card.
Sometimes he gets there accidentally just by being good with the decks he’s playing (and I’ve only ever been there once in 7 years while actively trying to get legend at many points in that time lol)
@@ythehunter755 that makes sense. I’ve also heard him say in past months where he got to legend that he just kept winning and got there by accident since he wasn’t trying to. That was a while ago though
@@remyllebeau77 yeah my issue is the amount of play time (or lack there of) when I have to go to work and do other adulting stuff most of the time so I don’t get too much time to play
For someone who usually is very consistent about being saying "it depends on the situation", saying with absolutely definitively that having more than 30 cards in deck is always a bad thing seems very short-sighted. In this rare instance, I must disagree with Roffle and point out there must be some control decks which would love to have additional cards.
Additionally the fact that adding a card is always bad is simply false, because it would mean that removing a card is always good (if not, they would exist at least one amount n of card for which adding a card is strictly good), so good luck with your optimal zero cards deck. On a more serious note, there should be an optimal number of card in a deck (that might change for specific type of deck or even specific deck), but it's probably not 30. Finding that number would be really hard but i'll trust the expert when he is saying it is lower than 30 (even if he use a misleading explanation to justify it).
@@skiram21 the cardgames are designed with the minimal amount of cards in mind. Adding more cards doesn’t hurt so bad when your deck tries to be ultra-resourceful, there is an active bonus when you have those cards (or they fill a condition), and there are lots of repetitive effects (UW Blink in Magic fits all these categories). With that in mind, adding more cards *in hearthstone* would be always bad because you lower the chances of drawing whatever you need, and there are no specific bonuses, if things stay like this. Think of Malchezaar. In Magic, it pays off very rarely (Yorion, the companion that required 80 cards was simply too good and lots of redundancy / cycling effects). In fact, many decks try their best to play with less cards. Wraith and Mishra's Bauble, from mtg, always had interesting possibilities due to "free" cycling, pseudo-creating a world where you play with less cards and find your core cards more often. In the same sense, in most games and formats, it's very rare to play with more than the minimal amount, which should tell you something :)
Maybe you'd want more cards if you were playing cards that you really didn't wanna draw, for example patches or big minions in "recruit" decks (this probably wouldn't be the case atm, maybe if they printed even more cheap pirate support and more recruit cards). Also maybe a mill deck would like extra cards so they don't deck themselves? If ignite didn't exist, spell mages would probably like a few extra cards since they draw such an insane amount and would probably run out if fuel.
"I was playing this druid and Guff's buffs made his minions really tough"

Did the buffs make you say "that's enough?" XD
At this point any more is just fluff

No way. I'm not gonna believe that bluff
These are all pretty good puns for being off the cuff
I've mostly seen Coldtooth in Drek'Thar Embiggen Druid as a way to find both of your most important pieces
But why do you want delayed tempo (embiggen) over the actual tempo (drekthar)? Need that much value?
How do you get both drekthar and vanndar?

Not sure why you're expecting smart plays from a pirate warrior.
Kibler's been using it in his Mega ramp Yogg Druid to find either Yogg or C'thun the Shattered after its shuffled. Love that man's decks.

I'm 19-3 with this deck so far. I've won on turn 1 once. turn 3 three times, and never past turn 6 yet. Pirate warriors fall like little girls...
its a fantastic standard deck

Huh? He's already playable lol. And he's already able to be summoned off of Oaken Summons.
Hit diamond 5 with the same deck today, but with speaker gidra instead.
Roffle in legend rank? What's the world coming to
