I have ADHD, PMDD and resulting anxiety and depression. I’ve spent the last 8 years STRUGGLING. I recently got a marajuana prescription and my life has CHANGED. It’s amazing I wish I found it sooner. It’s so hard to keep my mouth shut about it because I’m so excited and happy with my results.
My brain works differently than neurotypical people. When I smoke I clean my whole house, I get creative, I go on walks. My executive dysfunction is manageable now!
I hate the stigma weed has. Because this has been life changing for me.

This video is an eye opener for me,,, I have undiagnosed ADHD and CPTSD....I lost my job last year due to failing a drug test, even though I had given up cannabis for a couple of months before the test. This sent me into a spiral of depression and failed attempts at other jobs which I cant stop quitting, also started to get anxiety because of the thought of not being able to get another job because of the weed (I live in the 🙄frikin uk ).
Sooo, Now I have been giving up completely, my house and garden have become a complete F ing mess cos my adhd has got a grip on me really bad, also my anxiety levels are mostly through the roof to the point its hard to leave the house or even apply for a job...
It was never this bad when I used cannabis . I'm currently in the process of getting diagnosed for adhd and am hoping I can get prescribed to get back on the cannabis legally to help me be be me again.... So yep, I can relate to this video 👍

In my state it’s legal. I started taking edibles about a month ago, about two hours before bed and it’s made a world of difference for my adhd the next day. I don’t have all this stuff going on in my brain and anxiety that stops me from getting things done. I don’t have the usual morning depression, inwardness and lack of energy I usually have. I feel like I’m living. I feel like it’s cured me. I used to have all this sadness for the way my life had gone and it’s no longer there. I can accept my fate.

@@lgnrome Thing I did recently was give up caffeine. Giving up caffeine did more for me than anything else. I sleep without help, and I feel like dealing with people more. I was using pot for the anxiety caused by caffeine. Caffeine was my root issue. I’m not having the need for pot besides recreational at this point.

I regularly look Up Cannabis + ADHD related videos in UA-cam, and yours was new to me.
I'm a 26 year old German and have the rare luck to have a script,.so i am legal.
It's so sad that my parents and my older doctor don't understand english. Because many videos (yours delivered new Insights aswell) explain my problems and the Cannabis induced, positive effects on it so well, i could never be able to bring across the topic in so well.
And various real-life examples the creators tell about, could bring the Dr. + parents my life and inner thought process much closer and make it more understandable.
Since when i say it, they often only hear me talking about "drugs and weed", which is the total opposite of what i try to explain.

its very hard for the previous generations who were taught that all drugs were bad to not believe that still lol. Find what works for you, but do becareful not to get too carried away as ADHD can cause compulsive behaviour when we find something we really like. Although cannabis doesn't seem to be addictive, you could form a psychological dependance on it--
I use it when I need it. Some days if I feel good without it, I just don't use it. Or I may use just CBD and other cannabinoids asides THC.
      All the best!

@@moazadi8973 hey thanks for the detailed reply :)
Yeah i know my addctive behaviors very well. ich was a heavy opioid user from 17 to 25. stopped THC bc of legal reasons at 23. this drove me even further down the addiction route.
last year i got my cannabis script, and life really turned 180 degrees for me.
now i dont drink any alcohol, no heroin and shit anymore, and my THC dos also decreased drastically compared to when i still smoked illegal.
i really just see it as medicine and social glue nowadays
      thanks for caring though :)

Yes! I started using cannabis 2.5 years ago after a breakup. I started because it's legal here and I thought it would be pleasurable. I have 2 kids and use this extremely safely and with much though and care. After a short amount of time I realized that it was helping me focus and making it easier for me to overcome that inhibiting inward pull preventing me for accomplishing tasks. I am afraid of the illinois dispensaries that monitor your visits so I had been purchasing locally from a coworker. I have no clue what strains or types I have gotten but I can attest that some work and some do not. Some strains make my symptoms worse.
I'm glad that I found tour video because there is limited resources on the subject of treating the adhd symptoms with cannabis.
In a future video, I would love to hear you expand more on the effects of different strains and types.
    Thanks!

I am in the exact same boat. I also enjoy cleaning and can't stand it when the house is messy. Also, concerning kids, I have 2 of my own and they would rather I be more relaxed and present than an anxious mess all the time. Much preferred over drinking alcohol.

I was recently diagnosed with ADHD combined type and have been hesitant to start Adderall due to the national shortage. My local pharmacist even recommended that I wait to start until the shortage is resolved. So definitely looking for alternatives in the short term. Thank you for sharing your experience!

Don’t start Adderal. I thought it was the greatest thing the first few months, but in time I felt like a dependent junky. You get rage, restlessness, insomnia, and go unfiltered and hurt the people around you. You keep needing more because by a year you’ve built up a good tolerance. Adderal is like cocaine in a pill and it will set your brain back further than it ever was before. After being on for four years, I think it took my brain a good year of living in fog and depression to adjust once I got off. Edibles before bed work much better for me. I take about 5mg each night. In the morning, I wake up feeling great.

I have Inattentive ADD, and while I'm not sure if the Indica vs Sativa categorization is relevant anymore, I find that certain minor cannabinoids and terpenes really help me keep the focus and motivation.
Specifically, a combination of THCv, CBG and tiny bit of THC with limonene, pinene and linalool helps me a lot. I top it up with some lemon-citrus essential oils diffusing into the air around me, a cup of lemon-ginger tea, some soothing ambient lighting and I am all set for an all-nighter on my desk writing thousands of lines of code.
Being in Canada means I have limited access to THCv, as its still pretty new here, but I managed to get a really good quality full spectrum CBG oil.

You should upload more and more videos about it, throughout the day, not procrastinate, many people who are pushing even for recreational use, upload massive quantities of videos of them smoking them and nothing is happening to them, except they're getting the effects they desire and lead a happier life, although nothing is entirely harmless, many pharmaceuticals can be replaced with a plant that has polymorphic properties without the LD50 that exists, no body has died of an over-dose in history of humanity, it is physically impossible for anyone to die from cannabis by over-dosing on it or psychedelics, but amphetamines (adderrall), neuroleptics, and benzodiazepines, many have died falling in belief that legal dispension of a medicament makes it absolutely harmless.

consider getting tested for the Autistic spectrum...this oomes along with ADHD a lot of times....whole family. has it...
we seperate on weed...two cannot stand it...they have negative reaction to the smell...two love it and use it constantly...something genetic no doubt...

For people with ADHD, I am sorry to break it to you but treating your ADHD with Cannabis would be one of the worst decisions you will be making.
Temporarily it might work out really well you might feel amazing but it is at the end of the day will be negatively impacting your already impaired Executive Functions.
