I never liked the ending of this episode. Carly snuck out, Spencer was assaulted, the guy obviously got away with it, and it just ends with Spencer hurt and Carly not punished
This episode was just a Spencer torture porn, I've reluctantly grown to accept it.

@@quinna5537 no not really, being a generally carefree guardian doesn’t make it out of character to put your foot down when it comes to protecting them
It’s not so much OOC when literally we had that episode with their grandpa and the whole Spencer is irresponsible argument! So of course he’s doing what he’s supposed to do but imo it’s not so much Carly acting spoiled when he said no, I think it’s mostly for agreeing with Mrs Benson. By this point in the series we all know how she is being overbearing, embarrassing, annoying and a lunatic so yeah no one likes her including Spencer. I would be surprised too when all of sudden you’re agreeing with this lunatic woman who we both don’t like and know how she gets!
Carly, Sam, and Freddie could've invited that MMA fighter and his son to the iCarly studio, just like they do with other famous people(One Direction, Michelle Obama, The Plain White T's, and etc).
I don't think Spencer would allow it.

I always compared them once I watched BMW too, though Sam might be a bad influence for Shawny since she's way more aggressive.

I kinda get why though. Jackson was tough and had a temper but just going to the fight to watch wasn't going to get them hurt. If somebody agrees to an interview then they can be cool about it.
@@quinna5537 you not getting physically hurt isn’t all there is. You aren’t going to be hurt at a horror movie, yet you still might not be allowed to go. Agreeing to the interview doesn’t mean anything, he gave a reason to why he thought mma fights were inappropriate for kids.

PLOT HOLE: Even if they did sneak out and leave their look alikes in the studio pretending to be them, how would Carly, Sam, and Freddie know Spencer or Freddie’s mom wouldn’t go onto the iCarly website and see that they were live and webcasting from the MMA fight? It’s like they didn’t even consider that this could (and probably would) happen 😕

This episode is terrible. Spencer actually acts response like a proper legal guardian and Carly just acts like a spoiled brat. Spencer gets physically assaulted for doing what he was supposed to do. And whats worse. This is one of the episodes Freddy actually DESERVES a punishment, HE DOESNT GET IT! What the absolute hell was going through Schneider's mind while writing the script??

For me it was just poor timing to have Spencer be responsible for once ever since the episode with their grandpa. I never really saw her acting all spoiled here.
