That was exactly my thought, when I started playing along to the nevermind album. It is even deeper than most people realize. Thank you for your comment! Much appreciated.
@@afeed581 Indeed. You are right. I started with 'Nevermind' first and 'Rape Me' had to be included later, because the song is just so unbelieveably strong.
Kurt's melodies are really melodious and sweet but they have a bitter taste of tragedy and mystery, too. They also have a lot of air as if fresh spring wind is blowing and lets you breeth easily.
@@Lukavichiano The channel is growing slowly but permanently since I started uploading new stuff and I am really amazed what nice kind of people are gathering more and more in the comment section. 🙏🏻🤍
@@tassoskard8157 Indeed. The place is amazing, the sound architecture very demanding though, because they used a special sound reflection ceiling that works both ways (obviously). Not a problem for orchestras but sitting in the center of a huge "acoustic lense" on your own is something different ;-) wrote a little article about that on Facebook. Still. Amazing feeling. Yes! Miss those times.
would've loved to hear this before listening to nirvana, would be interesting to know if my taste in the music is more the genre and rock/grunge feel to it, or the actually melody writing and harmonies.
Yes. Interesting point indeed. I guess we'll never know for sure. If it's the melodies and harmonies that I used/rearranged, perhaps you'll like my original compositions as well, that I am working on at the moment... ;-) Take care!
Rape me is one of my favorites it has the soft and heavy sound the low a d high pitches and the message that it has is beautiful. What i am trying to say is rape me might be one of the best songs on earth
I guess you mean, that the song "on a plain" is actually on the album "nevermind" and you are correct. The video editor will never sleep the same after that mistake ;-) Shall we forgive him?
Dear people, I am on tour: Visit www.shaolin-piano.com for more details ... cu there! Christoph
You are my favourite piano player in the world. Please come to Vancouver Canada. I don’t understand why you are not famous.
when played on piano like this it really shows how good kurt cobain was of a melody/harmony writer. Amazing arrangement and performance!

My thoughts exactly!
@@SHAOLINPIANO 'Rape me' was actually not from 'Nevermind'. It's from his last album 'In Utero'.

Nice words, Helen. That describes pretty much, what I discovered too. Well put.
Hearing that chord progression on piano was such an experience
I feel you! It started as a fun project for me and then it sucked me in because of that very reason ;-) Glad that you can enjoy it as much as I do!
I don’t understand why this doesn’t have more views.
Outstanding. Amazing. Thank you!!
Thank you, Denni ! Means a lot 🙏🏻🎹
Likely due to low UA-cam SEO rankings.

Wow. Kurt was a melodic genius. This was beautiful on piano! So much passion and energy, I loved it.
Thanks a lot Meg. Yes. The melodic depth is astounding. I agree!
A masterpiece of two masterpieces. Brilliant!

Means a lot! Thank you :-) I try to tickle the algorithm from now on ;-)
You played very well, these are my favorite songs! Greetings from Turkey!
Thanks Emre. Means a lot!
This is amazing man. Nicely done! The melancholy sound of his melodies come across so strong on the piano. Beautiful arrangement.
Thanks Michael. Makes my day! 🙂
I wonder if most people could recognize the song by just hearing it
Interesting question. Have you tried it ?
1000 km away :) yes!
I honestly don't know what I meant when I comment this
@@julianbarbosa6415 Hahaha I guess if people would recognize the song without knowing what they are listening to, right? ;-)
UA-cam algorithm made its magic. The “on a plane” arrangement is the best I’ve heard! Thank you!
Thank you, Tassos! Glad you enjoyed it 🙏🏻🙋🏻♂️

Rape Me's bridge sounds so cool on piano, like a villain's theme or something. Nice job with that.
