Lyrics
Hark! Oh, hark!
Hark! Oh, hark!
(The Vengaboys be returned to the town)
Hark! Oh, hark!
Hark! Oh, hark!
Hark! Oh, hark!
Hark! Oh, hark!
Shouldst thou find thyself solitary and in need of companionship,
Someone to banish thy woes,
Come hither, sweetling, grasp mine hand,
This night, thy lover I shall be.
Hark! Oh, hark!
This be my desire,
Hark! Oh, hark!
(Let us partake in merriment)
Hark! Oh, hark!
'Tis thee and me, in singular concord,
Hark! Oh, hark!
Boom, boom, boom, boom,
In my chamber, I yearn for thee,
Let us abide together from this moment to eternity,
Boom, boom, boom, boom,
I seek to go boom, boom,
In unity, we shall spend the night,
Together in my chamber.
Hark! Oh, hark!
(All souls, join in the revelry)
Hark! Oh, hark!
(The Vengaboys be returned to the town)
Hark! Oh, hark!
This be my desire,
Hark! Oh, hark!
(Let us partake in merriment)
Hark! Oh, hark!
'Tis thee and me, in singular concord,
Hark! Oh, hark!
Boom, boom, boom, boom,
In my chamber, I yearn for thee,
Let us abide together from this moment to eternity,
Boom, boom, boom, boom,
I seek to go boom, boom,
In unity, we shall spend the night,
Together in my chamber.
Boom, boom, boom, boom,
In my chamber, I yearn for thee,
Let us abide together from this moment to eternity,
Boom, boom, boom, boom,
I seek to go boom, boom,
In unity, we shall spend the night,
Together in my chamber.
Hark! Oh, hark!
Hark! Oh, hark!
Hark! Oh, hark!
Hark! Oh, hark!
Boom, boom, boom, boom,
In my chamber, I yearn for thee,
Let us abide together from this moment to eternity,
Boom, boom, boom, boom,
I seek to go boom, boom,
In unity, we shall spend the night,
Together in my chamber.
“Ra, ta, ta, there!
Get thee to my chamber
Steal forth at night to meet me
An age in realm of fairy
Ra, ta, ta, there!
For I wouldst bed thee there
Steal forth at night to meet me
In my fairy chamber”
Verily, with great pleasure, my lord!
If thou art alone and thou require companionship
Someone to banish thy woes
Com'th hith'r mine dear'st , graspeth mine hand
This night , thy su'tor I shalt be
Love it!
@@Bardcore Grand merci good sir
Thy woes.
Replace any "ou" with "you" and see how it sounds: If it makes no sense ie, "you woes," try replacing it with "your." "Your woes." In which case it's "thy." "thy woes." (thy is possessive). Thou/thy/thee is the informal form of "you/your." Yes, you have been speaking formally for all these years, as has everyone else who doesn't use "thee/thy" forms (and there are people whose dialects do.) French and several other languages retain the informal/formal split, ie "vous/tu."
Likewise and a bit off topic but so common I really feel the need to address it, "ye" as in "ye olde shoppe" is not a form of "you." It's a form of "the." It's also not a Y, it's a þ(furthark script thorn), which is where the "th" consonent in English comes from. It literally means "The Old Shop." (ye will appear in dialects and scripts as a form of "you", yes, but not when it's referring to an object rather than a person. So no, it has not been "your old shop" all along)
When converting from anglo furthark script to roman alphabet, a form of "þ" would look like a stylized "Y" and more so when printing presses came along; they didn't want to create another character set so they used Y as a placeholder for "þ" until "th" became the official replacement for the "th" sound þ makes.
Anyway my point of this is I'd love to see a full version but you should probably look a few things up 😂
@@impishrebel5969 Ok , thank you Mr Smartarse
Such a strange song to turn bard but it works 😂
Surprise surprise!
While the king's royal army started to load the trebuchets as they began their seige upon the city, one royal knight, Sir. Hanz Janovich the II was enthralled by the sight. They made their way out of the encampment and proceeded to dance among the battlefield as the trebuchets fired onto the city's walls.
It was quite the sight, especially when the war band started to play this tune.
Spectacular scene, I love it!
for the emperoahhhh!!!!

@@Bardcore there’s a reason there’s a bardcore room in the family Discord.

Ho-ho, ho-ho,
Ho-ho, ho-ho.
(Allan A'Dale makes return)
Ho-ho, ho-ho,
Ho-ho, ho-ho,
Ho-ho, ho-ho,
Ho-ho, ho-ho.
Should fair company be what ye seek,
Some gentle hand to distract thy worries,
Come walk with me, love, the moon we seek,
Thy lover I'll be tonight.
Ho-ho, ho-ho,
Let me voice my plans to thee.
Ho-ho, ho-ho,
(Seek ye some fun?)
Ho-ho, ho-ho,
Would ye come and sport with me?
Ho-ho, ho-ho.
Ho, ho, ho, ho!
To my chambers we shall go!
This night we'll spend together,
Perhaps from then, forever!
Ho, ho, ho, ho!
To my chambers we shall go!
We've finished making harvest,
Now here's some seeds to sow!
*Author's note: Yes, that last part was a bit immature, but I'm struggling to come up with good lyrics, so please cut me some slack*
Thank you @user-ni8de6oe5v ,appreciated!

Purveyors of antiquated English, please use proper archaic grammar. You cant just add "-eth" to everything. It is a singular, 3rd person, present verb conjugation.
You'eth can'teth telleth me'eth what'eth toeth doeth 😂
@@Bardcore I think you meant to say *Thou'eth
