Tried today, excellent result , I did not have sounf , cashew and poppy so used only coconut paste , sorry sir extra I added one more item , I cut small pcs of a medium potato and added and the result was fantastic and for want of time I bought ready iddli mix and made nice soft iddli and served my son in law who made a sudden visit and I served this Salna and iddli, the guy was very satisfied, thank u so much for the recipe - the cost of this super dinner came to only ₹25 , rest all things avbl in refrigerator-God bless u Mr Venki

My family (Mom & Sister) is pure vegetarian, but since I work as a chef, I eat non vegetarian. This dish was amazing and really remind me of my college days where I used to eat roadside paratha and salna.
