I’m applying to this school and I am a Wisconsin resident. Could you go more in depth on the type of questions that they asked you during the interview?
My next video will actually cover preparing for the interview and I will go over many questions you can expect. Unfortunately I cannot give the specific questions that were asked at the Wisconsin interview but what I can say is that there wasn’t anything out of the ordinary. My next video should give you a really good idea of exactly what to expect.
Not a dumb question at all! So “premed” is more of a track than a major. The premed track includes all of the classes medical schools require you take during undergrad. Students will refer to themselves as “premeds” meaning they are on that track and planning on going to medical school. But their major will usually be in a specific department (chemistry, biology, anthropology, psychology, etc.). I did not go to Wisconsin for undergrad, I just interviewed at their med school, but I would assume that it is like what I described above. Please always feel free to reach out with questions. There’s no such thing as a dumb one. I hope this helps!
Hey!! I don’t think Wisconsin has a BS/MD program. The medical school is a MD program so I know they don’t have a BS/DO program. Premed was definitely pretty tough. But it’s definitely not unbearable. You’ll find your groove and everything else will take care of itself.
Evolving Medic I’m soooo soryyyy but one lasttt question...how hard was it to get into Wisconsin’s medical school? It’s just that I’m going to hopefully be an NCAA Div 1 athlete taking pre med. and it just worries me that I can’t balance academics and athletics. All in all...how hard was it to get into the med school. And do u think I will severely struggle with getting a good GPA/MCAT score while being a Div 1 athlete?
