Dr. Van Gayton I have a serious question for you. I listened to your debate with Carlton Pearson today about the Gospel of Inclusion. You made reference to God loving man and man's responsibility to love Him back. You gave an example of you loving your wife and the responsibility (or choice) of your wife to love you back. So, when you asked your wife did she love you, did you threaten her life? Did you tell your wife, if you don't reciprocate my love, I will torture and kill you? If so, is your relationship with your wife based on love or fear, intimidation, slavery, and bondage? This is the twisted, perverted message of Christianity. That God is so insecure and evil that He has to get mad and punish those who don't love him back like a spoiled abusive child. You also referred to your daughter, as her father, it is your responsibility to love your child rather that child return your love or not. Why? Because you are the wiser and responsible one of the two of you. Man didn't choose to be here just like your daughter didn't. So, because you decided to bring your daughter into the world, love is your responsibility not hers. If she ends up loving you back it's because you deserve it not because she owes you. And if she choices not to love you, you are insane to believe you have a standpoint to torture and kill her. This portrayal of God is embarrassing. Thank you Carlton Pearson!

You are trying to pit God against himself. He is not only a father. He is also our creator and Kinga and judge and as such those too require certain responses from us too. God gives us free to will to choose him or not and so like all choices there are consequences depending on the choice we make. God cannot force people into heaven against their will. So if they do not want him then the only option is Hell. You have to understand the goodness of God better. All of the things that we enjoy in life that are good come from God and Hell is a place separate from God thus void of any love, kindness, goodness etc. That is why Hell is so bad, also God created Hell for the Devil and his minions not for humanity. Furthermore, you have a very low view of sin to think that we deserve to be in Heaven. We as humans do evil everyday and to think that a loving God would just let that go and not judge evil is crazy. God wont let our evil unpunished go no more than a good judge wouldn't let a murderer go free. It is actually your portrayal of God that is embarrassing. Trust in the atoning work of Christ and tell others to do the same.
