Great video. I don't go to church, because I have not found any pastors like you speak of... Except on line.... So THATS where I get my notes from, my inspiration, and THATS where I my spirit gets filled, and of course from others on line too, and their comments. they are my family and always there to pray with, exchange comments, and lift each other up. I also read my Boble daily and began a co,Pete reread last July and have reached 2Kings. Then I find that many times, I feel that lovely holy sprit in me, just bubble up an image that fits well with a scripture and that's when I do my Bible art journaling. of course I do. Y artwork in a separate Boble just for that purpose. Bible journaling has become my place of refuge, where I can walk out of time, and into the heart of Jesus. I just love my time in that world, that part of my week. I love my relationship with our amazing God, and He is all of that and so much more. This year was a huge leap of faith for me, as so many things changes, and I lost a lot of dear friends who went home to Jesus. I'm 71 now, and my time with my family and grandkids is so special. I pray daily that I will be totally awake and ready when our Lord returns, and Imsense that it will be very soon. But Jesus said ro occupy until He does come, and so I work pt ti,e, count each day a blessing and wiggle through my days. Thank you for sharing how you go about your journaling and I'm so glad you have a good church to attend with a pastor that encourages you and actually reads the Bible and leads your spirit. You are blessed. Your sister i Christ.
Wow!!! You are the only Bible Journaling illustrator that has provided an amazing and very inspiring "How to journal in church" video. I often wonder "how can I journal in church?" I discovers your channel “by chance” while looking up UA-cam videos on taking fancy creative church notes. I already do this already a little bit bit I usually accent my journal pages with scrollwork so far. I do bring a few things with me to church that I know I will use for sure !!! I’m from the ocean shores of Pacific Grove, CA and I get to church early too just like you suggested 🤣🤣🙌🏼❤️

We can visit many channels to find inspiration for our Bible journaling, but you always bless me with your prayers & focus on what is top priority.
Personally, I have always been a notetaker- but I hadn't figured out how to merge my creative with my sermon notes until recently. At first I was just carrying my "Inspire Bible" & I would color or draw while Pastor was talking. Recently, I have begun carrying around a 7x5 composition book. So I no longer have loose pages falling out of my bible. Thanks for reminding me to prep the pages & "pretty it up!"

I love the e-mail idea...so much so, I stopped the recording and signed up so I wouldn't forget. Thank you for the pointers on more taking during a sermon. Right now I'm the only person in my small, very small, Church. I'm hoping to change that. Bless you for your ministry on UA-cam.

I haven't been able to journal in church in the last 7 months as I had a baby and now she is wriggling around so I find it difficult to focus on the sermon let alone juggling pens and stickers.However you have inspired me to prep my pages and although I won't take extra stickers and bits I can prep and then simply use a pen.Thank youPlease keep me in your prayers I have felt very withdrawn from God and was planning to become a minister a number of years ago but now I feel God has great things in store.

I love this video because I am always afraid of "getting caught" as I doodle out the sermons as I sit listening in church. Most people have pages and pages of notes. Mine are the high points in fancy writing....LOL. When I go over them later, I can hear the sermon playing in my head. Prior to this, I would take notes and would frantically try to get everything down. I don't know how I started the doodling...but it has paid off. Thanks for a lovely video.

I have tried taking notes during the sermon but, maybe it is my senior years that I find I can't listen and write at the same time. I feel I might be missing an important point while I am writing. Sometimes I do get a word or 2 down but I never seem to be able to recreate the thought accurately.
What is the name of the Pastor you listen to on your computer? I have tried finding an on-line paster I really love to listen to but so far the few that I found, I could not find again... I figure if I listen to on-line sermons then I can pause as often as I need to in order to do my writing...
Helen Card so lovely to hear from you. The pastor I am watching in this video is Steven Furtick from Elevation Church. His sermons are brilliant and I love the fact I can pause it ☺️ maybe try speaking to your pastor at your home church and just say you are trying to take notes so that you can remember what they have said and meditate on it during the week and it would be really helpful for them to repeat key points or verses to help you in this. Trust me I’m sure you’re not the only one this would benefit and they will be really grateful that someone is wanting to mediate more on God’s word during the week. All the best ☺️
