    Great video, nice simple recipe. Was looking for someone eating Ốc Len Xào Dừa in Saigon and instead I got your recipe. Happy surprise. ☺

    Do we wash or prep the snails before hand? I have no idea how to clean them.

    • @JannieLam
      @JannieLam  4 роки тому

      Sorry for the delayed response. I rinsed them over and over until the water run clear, and then I soaked them for a bit then repeated the rinse. Hope this helps! :)

      usually just put them in a bowl of water them add a cup of vinegar to the water let then sit for about 30 minutes in that then rinse thoroughly after that, should be all clean to cook...

    Is there any snail dish that doesn't require the shells?

    • @JannieLam
      @JannieLam  3 роки тому

      I’m sure there are but I don’t cook snails very often. This recipe I’ve made only twice.

      Blure ocean I’m sure you can. I only use this type because it was what was available in the market at the time.

    how do you clean the snails? Do you just soak them in water?

    • @JannieLam
      @JannieLam  2 роки тому

      I rinsed them multiple times and scrub the outside. Then I soak overnight.
