I'm starting to wonder if this is how the japanese hear miku. We don't understand how to pronounce the japanese words or what they mean, so maybe she really does sound like a computer... I'm being real stupid.
I don't really get your comment :/ But by guessing: Japanese have very simple pronounciation, it is very difficult to synthesise English. The other reason is, this is similar Japanese English pronounciation, so Japanese can understand it better.
Japanese and English are very different languages. You can compare japanese pronunciation of Miku's songs to actual Japanese to see that they've nailed the language down fairly nicely. English is a different matter since our language has thousands of pronunciations, also given the fact that Miku is still using the restricted ~110 syllables that she only has in Japanese, you'll find her English is very terrible. tl;dr Miku is like most of the Japanese population, they're good at Japanese, terrible at English.

honestly deeper Miku sounds way better than her original high pitched squeaking I generally hate Miku for her voice but here she sounds son amazing and oh boy this is one of my fave songs

Those complaining, the voice provider doesn't speak English. Vocaloid had very little to work with. It may sound different, but unless the VP can magically learn English in a few years, nothing can be done.
This is definitely one of my favorite songs done with her. I know she's the face of vocaloid but I never really thought of her what it had to offer, because I don't like how high her voice is. This song weirdly suits her, even the deeper voice isn't what we usually hear. It sounds really strong too.
