Duke of Demakes true, but there’s always ways in which they can improve “fairness”, scrapping 1 lap qualifying was clearly one of them.

They could make an exception in rules. When wheather doesn't looks clear, the system changes. This rule was amazing.

That's how racing is. Sometimes, you get lucky by being on the track at the right time. It's the same case as now. If it was nearing the end of Q1/Q2 and that rain shower came, you would see a mixed up grid because of the timing of the rain.
