She was a bloody nut case!! The actress must have had a lot of fun playing this character, shame we never saw a different side to her though, but still one of my all time faves !
I'd place Lou in my top 5 of all prisoner characters and perhaps even rate her second overall after Sheila Florence as Lizzy. Louise provided consistent outstanding performances and I never got the sense that she was just reading the script (like so many other actors). Louise truly embodied Lou. She was brilliant.
Lou is hands down my favorite character on the show. It's such a shame they killed her off in such an anticlimactic way. She deserved better. One of the best villains and one of the few good looking women on that show.

I noticed in the beginning Alice used too appear as very nasty like in the cell when lou and Alice went too see hannah but then after a while u started too see a nicer side of Alice, I think at that point she knew who her friends were was shocked too see that lou was a little nicer towards daphne , wish they had a bit more of a storyline about Kelly's upbringing and background .

I loved Lou. She was more than a one dimensional baddie. There were rare moments Lou showed compassion, especially to Daphne
