I like Fat Boy a lot. So, I went out to visit a local HD dealership and they wanted to charge me a lot over MSRP. So, I eventually bought a 1/12 scale model from Walmart and I have become a happy owner now ever since.
Vehicles cost money not matter what, if you buy a car or a boat or a motorcycle there are dealer costs, there's freight / shipping and dealer prep. If you want something in life it's going to cost you money, I bought the 2022 Fat Boy, I didn't like the charges but like I said they're typical costs of any vehicle you buy.
Don't need it with a fuel gauge on the speedo. My Road King has the gauge on the left cap, I later went with the new speedo that has a fuel gauge, so now I have TWO fuel gauges, geez... I never look at the cap gauge no mo.
I bought the 2022 Fat Boy and I'm glad to hear you mention the seat. I love the way the bike ride, it's smooth, great power, a real solid ride but after an hour in the stock seat my butt is killing me. I'm definitely going to look at some aftermarket seats so I can ride this beautiful bike and not be in pain.
I felt the same way with my 2021 Fatboy. I have played around with many of the different seats in the past with other Harley's i have had, so this time i decided to go all in and get the Corbin Wall seat. I can ride all day on it and my butt never had hurt me yet. They cost a little more and you will have to wait a few months, but they're made in the USA. Your butt will thank you.
Did you get the bike to ride 2up? I’m starting to like the fatbob for the looks. Street glides and road glides have all that fancy screens and what not and kinda thinking I don’t need all that stuff. To much in front for distraction
Awesome helpful videos, how did you find the handling on this Fatboy , especially in the turns? which ride did you like more Fatboy or the 2022 Low Rider S ? (I'm trying to decide between the 2)
Surprisingly the Fat Boy handled great and felt a bit more responsive at the throttle. But you can't customize the Fat Boy the same as you could an LRS. I prefer the mid controls and the design of the LRS.
Aside all, how come "She`s a big boy" Funny choice of words. Love the bike btw im hopping to buy one in a few weeks. im choosing between breaker and this one.
Lol maybe san Francisco is wearing off on me 😅. The breakout was discontinued 2 years ago, but they're both great bikes. They also handle very different.
Could this bike be great for longer distance and 2up riding. I know would have to change seat,add bags,windshield and docking set with back rest. But I have a ultra 21 model but…. It’s just to much bike for me and high price to so kinda trying to downsize. Thanks
@@CodyMcDonald89 get the Special with a windshield?? The Fat Boy looks awesome, but those accessories don't work with the Fat Boy IMO. Harley wind splitter windshield is really the only one that looks decent on the Fat Boy.

Yes there's very cool looking and nice sure wish I could ride a fat boy cause I never rode one before and it took me 7 time to get my driver license wonder how long it will take me to get a motorcycle license but with the help of lord I can try and try again until its done right even though its my first time on a harley bike it going be a real dream come true riding something I never had before and just having fun with the wind in my hair the motor running and just looking up at the sky on beautiful day with no worries stress or other problems
In California the DMV test was easy, I remember the test was only 20 questions because I already had my license. The riding portion was passed during my MSF course
You know nothing about Harley's.She's a big boy??? Handles because of tires? It wouldn't have anything to do with the 30° rake would it. Placement of throttle body angle feels more aggressive,LVL. Go home get your lectric scooter little buddy, don't cough too hard.🎉🙄
Wider tires = handles differently/more grip. All softails have 30° rakes except for LRS/Fat Bob, but yes that also plays a part with handling including wider wheels. I couldn't figure out why the bike felt more responsive when compared to the LRS117. But it could be due to the fat rear tire or the angle of the resting position of the throttle grip, maybe both. The Fat Boy felt the most responsive that day.

I miss the 2 chrome fuel caps on the 5 gal tanks on the new Bikes...I like it when they put the fuel gauge on left one...

congrats on the new bike, maybe the seat needs some breaking in. It took my Step-up seat about 1.8k miles to break in.

If they don't sell they send the chassis back tomorrow is it or modification or troll new stuff on the motorcycle and then they sell it for the 2024

Why not get a Road King instead? Its got the bags and windshield. The RK is also good for 2up riding.

I like the 2022 wheels, and the new tank badging. I was surprised by how much more responsive it felt compared to the LRS117.

Depends on how your body feels after ab30 minute ride. Most riders make the switch around their 40s.
