I’ve had one of the originals since 1984 and I sit in it almost every day. It’s been upholstered twice but a very durable, comfortable and unique piece of furniture. I absolutely love it.
I have back issues after a operation in 2016 and i have huge problems sitting even in my herman miller embody which they m now selling. Im considering checking out the Thatsit version of Varier. What kind of fabric would you recommend on these chairs 🪑
@@mariusgmail670 I don’t know the options Varier offers but their fabrics seem high quality. My chair is upholstered in a synthetic velvet like textured micro fiber. Leather is quite comfortable & durable but expensive and should be conditioned to prevent drying out 2 or 3 times a year (a simple task). As far as an office chair goes my wife works from home and says her Sit/Stand desk is a game changer for her back issues. Something to consider also. Good luck.
@@Ojb_1959 Would you recommend the Gravity for office work? I guess it’s really designed to be a lounge chair, not an office chair as shown in the video. Do you think you could use it by a desk for 8+ hours?
Maybe if you have a large office because reclined it needs some space but other than that I personally think I could get use to it. One feature on all office chairs is they swivel so you’ll have to get use to that. I guess it depends how much lateral movement you’ll need and whether kneeling is an issue for you. I like the versatility of it quite a lot. Having access to both would be ideal then switch them out to reduce fatigue if the office has the room. Good luck !
Wonderful! Is it difficult to hold the position with body? I whould like to use it as a workstation im my home office. In combination with a mouse and keyboard holder.
