14:24 so damn funny. Glad you kept that in there!!
+steph des 16:00 is even more funny, watch what appears on the left hand side of the screen.
+Donatello97 what?... its a person...
+wrecktangle Thanks for stating the obvious dude. :P It was the High pants 'n urcle walk that got me.
sry no disrespect, i just didnt get why lol
+wrecktangle ahh, no worries!
@Captain8Bit - West Seattle can be a funky part of town, and this is a huge park... so I just had people lingering around my picnic table. Most were just curious, but a few either kept getting a bit too close... or eyed my camera and games with envy. I look like a mother protecting her cubs, don't I? :)
Shoutout to the guy in the bushes
Sean Spicer creeping on Metal Jesus.
LOL the douchbag comment nearly made me cry.
Yeah I'm kinda curious what the douchbag was doing haha
Yeah, that's perfectly credible. ;)
Curse you single white letter on single-color background gang.
Hey Jason great video, thats a ton of new pickups! Thanks again for our outing and fun day :) BTW get cracking on Symphony of the Night right away, it's an essential play! Beware, Creepy guy in the bush.
one of the hidden gems of MJR videos
Metal Jesus Rocks brought me here...
+davidevoid because of the metal jesus rocks... or SUCKS?! video
love it how he goes from super excited to being like "God, this douchbag over here....come on." Too funny!
Call me a little late in the game, lol but I came across Metal Jesus a few months ago on UA-cam and instantly subscribed. I have been collecting for several decades. Due to moving all around I have lost some and gained some games. Metal Jesus you are awesome sauce!
Well, if ur a little late in the game 3 years ago, then I guess I came extremely late since I only found Metal Jesus about a couple months ago this year.
So Glad he started doing this with Reggie. I've binge watched almost all these pickup videos.
@@damntakes525 Hell, what does that make me?! I just found him maybe a little over a week ago! Sheesh..!
Wow, congrats on the $2 games! So many personal classics in this video!
9:28 Interesting to hear this. I lived in NYC back then and was evacuated to Philadelphia by my employer.
lol....that guy and your face...great look at some interesting games like mirrors edge...which I loved when it came out...still own that one.
From 14:24 - 14:37 LOL I’m watching and wondering why Metal Jesus randomly got pissed for no reason 😂😂😂
hahaha you has some dude starring at you from the bushes? And thanks for the kind words
@AlirazaVideoGames - Thanks for noticing the audio! I use either a wired lapel mic (like in the video above) or I have a nice R0de shotgun mic that is great too. I used to work in a professional recording studio...so a bit of that comes out in my videos. As for the NES top loader, I should get it modded. Using RF blows!
@MrDeathSmiles - Everybody who loves shooters and owns a Saturn always recommends: Galactic Attack. I will definitely be on the lookout for that!
I really don't know why I haven't gotten around to check out your channel sooner dude but I'm glad I finally have! Really enjoyed this pick ups video, had a great pace to it and was great to see footage from nearly all of the games! :D
Definitely some nice pickups. I had seen a bit ago RyanRightN0w's video from when he was with you and the other guys, which looked like a lot of fun, so it's also cool to hear about it from other sides.
Everything I hear about PAX is that it's a great place to be and by far the best game conference.
I know I'm a bit late, but just going through some of you're old videos. Heart of darkness was one of my favourite ps1 games back in the day!
so awesome that you got a link to the past, castlevania games, doom games, and mega man now! Let the journey continue!
Excellent work. I enjoyed the diversity of your review and buffet of games. I will keep an eye out for Axelay! Looking forward to your future vids!
Phantasy Star was the first RPG I ever played and I was blown away.
Shallow compared to todays standard but back then it was great and I think you will enjoy it as well.
Thanks for your videos wich gives me alot of fun during my work hours ;)
Your videos are extremely well made and enjoyable to watch man. So glad I subscribed. I've been getting more and more into collecting games lately. Looking forward to the next video
Glad u had fun @ PAX!!! Really need to go up there!
I've recently decided to move to the Seattle/Tacoma area next year. Thanks for showing an outdoor video! Looks beautiful!
I always come back and watch this video for the ending. It is so hilarious.
Hi Mr. Jesus. I've played games for a long time and in the last 3 months have started collecting seriously. Love the videos (top picks and worthy of mention). Also a huge fan of shoot-'em-ups. Love the game room. P.S. I think right now I could give drunken master Paul a run for his money. Thanks and keep making them God awesome videos. Thanks. These are the thoughts of Erik as typed by his lovely wife Wendy.
some of those games im totally blown away that you didnt have..great video
It sounds like all of you guys had an amzing time at PAX! I hope to be able to attend next year!
lol that guy starring at you ...a horror movie in the woods loool
Some fantastic pickups there man, for sure!
Couldn't stop laughing at those two points where people were walking past!
glad to see you showing people around from other states and representing Washington gamers, thanks. from watching your videos and Ryan you seem like a great video game guy. nice game scores also. keep up the good work!
Great pick ups, and i love the black and white things lol
Very awesome video man, can't wait for the next one!
The game chasers sent me here, awesome show dude, i love your videos
You're by far one of my favorite youtubers, keep it up man ;D
Wow never saw this vid before almost seen all of yours liked the outtake lol
kinda refreshing seeing a pick up video outside, nice work
I started cracking up and dying with laughter when you took a minute to call whoever that was at the park a douche bag! X^D
same. haha
I’m the same just comes at you from nowhere ha ha
One of my favorite shooters for the Playstation was a game called "Airgrave" (Japan only).
Nice pickups! You have great taste in games! I've been looking for GunForce myself. I was going to get Axelay at a local hobby shop but it was too expensive.
Came here after the "Metal Jesus Rocks... or SUCKS?! - A Look Back" video. Great videos man!
Man those were some awesome pickups! Wheat I like is the variety of different games u got on variouse systems. BTW, I think u were getting creeped on by the guy in the bushes. LOL!
Ah dude i loved heart of darkness when i saw that you got it i rememberd it from a while ago such a cool game to play. Great video btw... keep it up!
Haha, so many shmups! I was introduced to the genre VERY recently with Deathsmiles for the 360, but I've gone back and played a few other like 1942 (NES), Legendary Wings (NES). My dad introduced Galaga to me on the Namco Museum game on the PS2, but nothing beyond that, so it's awesome to explore some of these awesome games. I'm really looking forward to Otomedius Excellent for the 360 later this month.
Great video, man! Looking forward to watching more of them :)
Heart of Darkness is so amazing. Started playing it again recently.
DREAM THEATER!!! Sick shirt man. Their new album comes out tomorrow. I am so excited. They are one of the best bands of all time! Nice pickups, also. I would have loved to have gone to PAX.
great pickups! good addition to the man cave :D
Great stuff Jesus.
I like it that there is a lot of gamefootage to almost every pickup! :D
@Taknar - Thanks for noticing. My whole goal in my videos is to SHOW YOU THE GAMES, and not just talk about them.
ryanrightnow sent me :P loving your channel! you guys make me miss moving from kitsap county in washington :( its almost hard watching all of you guys videos cuz of that haha
Doom SNES was so cool. Love the red cart.
Great vid dude! And reading Retro Gamer huh? Awesome
I downloaded Gradius to my 3DS from the eShop. That game is ungodly difficult! I don't remember the GameBoy version (which had its name changed to Nemesis for some reason) being anywhere near that difficult.
Lots of nice finds for NES & Super NES. Your friend Ryan easily saved you at least $100 on those great titles. (Mega Man 2, Castlevania & Zelda: LTTP, specifically...)
Doom on the PS1 is probably one of the better console ports of the classic PC games. I picked it up recently in the long box. It's quite fun. Although, I still prefer the N64 & PC versions above all others.
you are the best. people in bushes are always creapy :D
Great pick ups!
Great pickups man, can't go wrong with Gradius! And of course DKC2 is one of my favorite games of all time :D
"A guy is starring at me from the bushes"
There are some strange people out there. haha
Great video and cool pick-ups! :)
Do the shops in Seattle have the games inside the boxes as they're on display? I purchased a ds game in a respected retro shop in my area, but I had to take the empty box to the counter and they put in a counterfeit cartridge. I only noticed when I got home.
Omg I fell in love with FF Tactics!!
One of my video game bucket list things to do is to go video game hunting with Metal Jesus
Hahaha what a bunch of freaks out there, keep up the good work and thank you for keeping us interested in games
@callumplaysguitar - It was the mighty Retro Gamer Magazine & I buy it almost every month. It is an excellent gaming magazine... and we just don't have anything like it here in the States.
that was actually hilarious when it cut to you giving some guy that death stare
Awesome Video! Greetings from Poland! Good job! Fantastic channel!
Beautiful park! Jealous you got Darius Gaiden, I am big into shooters too. I loved Darius Twin on SNES. I also just got Gradius 1 for NES from a thrift store. I am really impressed with your shooter pick ups. Wow, you got the NES Top loader too, that's awesome find. 5 dollars I can just die from that! I am impressed you got Mars Matrix too, that's a great one. I'm playing through Final Fantasy Tactics now on PSP, its also out for iPhone.
Dude awesome video love the channel
As an American living in London I can say with authority that easy access to Retro Gamer mag is about the only thing better about being in the UK than US. Well, they do also sell beer in pints here (and a British pint is close to 19 ounces).
"Heart of Darkness" is one of my favorites games of all time por ps1
Mirror's Edge is one of my favorite games.
dude Nes 101 for $5 an amazing deal!!!!!! i just got one last month, great little system
contra 3 and super punch out for $2 great deal to - i watched pete's videos, great you took him round the game stores - awesome footage, your really lucky to have such great video game stores in america - shame about the freeky guy in the park lol - keep on rockin!
nice pickups! and nice dream theater shirt =)
Well, I mean, it is a park, with a beautiful weather like that expect a few folks walking around.
But good thing no one tried to steal any of your game.
Watching all your videos homie
iam new to you,due to pete dorr, but just loving your vids man
Blazing Lazers for the TG16 and Radiant Silvergun japanese import for the Saturn are great shooters. Two of the very best IMO. if you don't have them, get them.
dream theater tee, good video and its just started lol
Great pickups
@HansiusBardius - Thanks! That's Dream Theater's 20th Anniversary T-shirt with all of their albums up to that point on the front. I love that t-shirt, but it's getting worn out! **cries**
I bought it 2 months ago, and I love it :) do recommend it
lol nice shoutout to the game chasers while wearing the dreamtheatre shirt :P
18:40 a US copy of Power Stone that he traded for some reason and then he got the Japanese version to have it back in the collection again.
just came accros your channel through other youtubers, had to subscribe when i saw dreamtheater shirt :D
I love your videos!
Mirrors Edge the HYPE.the reboot is actually pretty good, i need to play both again
I so want to get a dream cast and a Saturn but I need some advice on what are really good games for either system to start with one smup fighting and racing game for each would be good if you could give me some advise because there are a dream cast and a Saturn in the pawn shop right now
Lol who was the vato that was hiding behind the bushes ur face was priceless lol great pickups
more great pickups, for me,on beginning of this video, more shoot-em-up games,of more for PS1 games is interesting and cool
Love your vids alot. I plan on making videos like this. Of course my collection is nothing like yours. My favorite system is the original xbox
Astro Boy for GBA is a true gem. Treasure always delivers.
I recommend you look for the Japanese version of Gradius Deluxe on the Sega Saturn, it includes Gradius 1 and Gradius 2. Salamander Deluxe (LIfeforce series in the US) has the 1st and 2nd game in the series, and the US Lifeforce version, available on the Sega Saturn. Also, look for another Japanese game from the same series, Gradius Gaiden for the PS1. A Gradius Collection for the PSP was also released here in US.
If you enjoy shooters you should try Insector X and Sol-Deace which are both for the Sega Genesis. They are both great games, thank you for the great videos!
Phantasy star is a great game I so really need a master system again one of my top gaming systems
Awesome video MetalJesusRocks, I'm surprised you don't have Phalanx yet -- get it CIB so you and your friends and wife can laugh at the clueless old man on the cover
GREAT VID!!!
Dream Theater!! \m/ John Petrucci very underrated guitar player.
Everytime I see him wearing that T-Shirt it makes me jealous ;) It's got Octavarium on it, so it's probably pushing 10 years old. If I wore a shirt that much it'd be rags.
Petrucci underrated? What rock you been living under?
Nice pick up's MetalJesus! you came across a lot of Gems there and a good portion of them for 2 bucks 0_o thats awesome! man i am gonna have to make it down to Seattle one of these days! I heard there are a lot of around there, they aren't to bad in B.C and where i live which is Vancouver Island there are surprisingly quite a few amount of pawn shops and retro gaming places around! a little lack luster in my area but they are out there! good Vid man! and lol the stupid douche in the bushes! XD
I can not believe it’s been 10 years since this video. I removed being a senior in highschool watching your stuff and it’s been so pleasant rediscovering you and your work. Here’s to 10 more years and even more after that!!
I still have the NES with two of my most prized games the first Zelda and Final Fantasy lol
