Ok I have seen many different ideas using this cut pressed & rolled technique, but they generally are styles I couldn't imagine anyone ordering. Flamingos are cute, but I don't see anyone wanting a cake of flamingos What type of situation would this cake be asked for?
For my channel, I just like experimenting with designs that I think are fun for me to do, but you would be surprised if all the variety that people order. Flamingos are very popular for beach/summer birthdays. So when some clients say, “you come up with the design”, for their summer cake, I might pitch a tier of this and then some cute beach decorations too. People love flamingos, pineapples, and monstera leaves.
@@kyongscakesncrafts I love when they let me have creativity freedom. Sadly I don't live near any beaches and summer themed for my locals would be fishing boats and beer lol
@@kyongscakesncrafts i actually did a fishing cake once. It was a birthday cake for my friends husband. Did a chocolate tree with green cake as the leaves, two horses, a cowboy on a old crate, with a 6pk in a cooler, the man looked just like her husband. He was fishing in a blue jello stream. An because he loved his job of bailing hay, I did some rolls of hay bails from the high marshmallows 🤣 dipped them in melted butterscotch chips, then rolled them in crushed Shredded Wheat. Everything was edible except the horses and the fishing pole. He absolutely love it. He ate on it till he was full and didn't eat the T Bone dinner she made him. Lol
