They obviously have to figure out how to play together and it may be they just need a new coach and/or more time playing together or it may be that it's just not a good fit, but yes you would expect that a team with Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, Lou Williams, Patrick Beverley, Reggie Jackson, Zubac, Shamet, Green and whoever else would still be at bare minimum a playoff team and in all likelihood could be a contender, no? Don't pretend Trez was the key to this team's success, I like him plenty but he's their #4-5 scoring option and a liability defensively, in fact if they get an actual rim protector that could easily be the thing that brings it all together.

Amidst all the sports talk (and it was really fun to hear all the banter) it was Nick's comment about Broussard that reminded me why I love this show so much. When Nick said he'd want Broussard to raise his kids if he weren't around, he was making a point about how even great men could have a bad professional moment, but you could sense the truth of what he was saying. Somehow in the middle of a sport talk show, Nick, as he so often does, showed his heart for everyone to see. Broussard and Nick are like two brothers, competitive and combative on the surface, but deeply connected at the core of their soul. When these two are on the show, it shines. I love watching them.
