- Dimapur has been sweltering under soaring temperatures in recent days, but the situation has been exacerbated by frequent electricity outages. These irregularities have disrupted daily life for residents and negatively impacted local businesses. In response, NLTV spoke with community members to understand their grievances. Many expressed strong resentment towards the inconsistent power supply and urgently called on the concerned authorities to address the issue with utmost sincerity.

Here in Assam same no electricity for 8-10 hrs everyday
Should interview the power department officials.
We are paying the money for the electricity so just replace the transformer and provide us 220volt that's it

We the public pays full electricity bills every month on time so why can't the power dept set up a good transformer to prevent irregular power supplies or load shedding? They cut off the electricity for hours and say they'll bring a new transformer but they repair the old ones and bring it back. Etu ki kotha? Where are all the money going at? Minsters stay in big houses filled with Ac and travel in cars with good Ac's so they don't understand the struggle of the common man.

Let's have a public voice Dimapur. We don't have to fight over this but it's our right to survive peacefully. Where is this better Dimapur? I don't think this is a better Dimapur and this issue goes on every year. The electric department, as soon as possible please take notice of this issue, it's one of the important parts of our survival. Today the temperature in dimapur was 39°c and the light was very irregular I nearly died from sweating😂
Compare to other states nagaland is very small population, why is there electricity issue?
In other states there is 24/7 electricity with many population.

Thuogh the electcity is off and on we usully pay bill rs. 28000 to 30000/- per month with eleven family and no one is using any ac and 3 house is not usuing even fridge ,so i want to know is it a normall billing or is it yoo much. Check n clarify this.

Why no one is talking about GST? It’s just not acceptable in some cases, e.g to recharge WiFi they charging 18% gst before it was not mandatory to get it with television connection but they say now it’s mandatory for some reasons
So I assume that 'some reason’ is, before gst it was just 399₹ so maybe they were paying from that 399₹ but now they can keep all that 399 because after gst it’s 399₹ + 180₹ so they pay that 18% gst 180₹ n keeps 399 so what I mean is they made it mandatory WiFi connection on televisions just to put that 18% tax coz televisions n others slab is 18% or m I just getting crazy thinking all this but I believe I’m not wrong I guess ✌🏼✌🏼there are 4 slabs 5% 12% 18% 28% These rates apply to various goods and services based on their category
Ac is like decoration .. because of low power..
Keep inviting these govt officials for Tribal & students events for a few donation, chief guests in social functions, vote for them and enjoy the summer heat of Dimapur. These
