Thanks so much Lyndon. You know you're going to think I'm a crazy old man. We and she lived in a very special area that's remote in northern Wisconsin overlooking Lake Superior. We see and hear all kinds of wildlife, mostly at night. Some of this hearing is of owls, but just faintly from what seems like a distance. Now from childhood up here I've heard the Ojibway (spelled with a y here) stories of owls and spirt bridges. But, I've never experienced it. Over the course of the last month they were going crazy here just outside our house. There were many from the sounds of it. (couldn't see them because it get's pitch black) I still get up early every day and sit outside with coffee first thing. There's not one to be heard, since shortly after her passing. This is true and it was a unique, but yet beautiful experience. She did live a wonderful life and did so much for my brother and I. My dad did too. Now, their reunited in a far better place. We'll miss them dearly. Thanks for your expression of love ond we love you and Donna.

Thanks so much Dara. Yes it was a Flat Stanley. We had our boys a little later in life and this was made by my youngest in school. He mailed it off to his grandmother to take a photo with it as was part of their project. The return photo came in the mail and he hung it up at school with the ones that came from the other kids families. He was at the funeral yesterday with his wife and I selected that picture that my mother had saved. He remembered it clearly! While my mother is in a far better place now, we'll miss her dearly. We are sorry to hear about your mom’s passing. She is now free of any discomfort she felt here at this earth. Her youth is restored and she has a place in the Lord’s Kingdom. I trust when she arrived she was welcomed with open arms and is reunited with her family and friends who have gone before her.

Thanks so much Dara. Yes it was a Flat Stanley. We had our boys a little later in life and this was made by my youngest in school. He mailed it off to his grandmother to take a photo with it as was part of their project. The return photo came in the mail and he hung it up at school with the ones that came from the other kids families. He was at the funeral yesterday with his wife and I selected that picture that my mother had saved. He remembered it clearly! While my mother is in a far better place now, we'll miss her dearly.
