for a character that supposedly loves lux and has an expensive taste, you would think she would have the most jewelry out of the main characters. the dress on its own is just not enough. also she doesnt seem like a barrette kinda girl, give her hella bracelets and some chandelier earrings. poor violet

She's sadly last place in this whole line-up for me too, her 2nd outfit & shoes are really cute though. It's funny they changed her eyebrows for this release, as she usually has had purple eyebrows in every previous doll. Also with how much we've all pretty much complained about Violet's metallic nylon hair, you'd think MGA would've started using the softer nylon hair by now. Anyhow JH Violet & CB Violet still reign supreme in my book!💜👅💜

Justice for Violet. I don't even like Violet, as a character, but making her wear a cheap version of her dress is crime.

Junior high Violet is the only Violet I like and have. I can never bring myself to buy her first doll, even though I really want to compelete series one.
I like her too and have her. It sucks that the regular purple girl is so underwhelming since purple is my favorite color. Luckily, I have Veronica and Tiara.

As a doll, she's ok, pretty in her own way. But to be in the Fantasic Fashions group, ummmmm, it's a no for me. It's like they put the time, effort, expense, in the other ones, and said, nope, none for you...just my opinion...great review Angel, you call it as you see it. I love violet. On the show, I feel like this dress looked better! I don’t care for the fabric..lt Looks more white than purple? Looks like costume material from like spirit Halloween? Lol Ur right about the eyebrows after u said that. I they just need a hair darker. purple would be fine too but black eyebrows would be too much! but just little darker like Tiara would be cute. Poor Violet. I love her shoes though! Also, ur right about the new stands, they have been trash since shadow high came out. My Veronica and Naomi, their stands are straight up garbage, u breath on it, and they fall and it’s beyond annoying! Especially since they were so expensive and they fall all the time.
I think if they use different feathers it would have looked a little bit better because the flat feathers feel boring I wish they used something mo fluffy like the one for Natasha zima's dress I think it might have looked better , and it would have look like the sketch as well

I think Violet is the most underwhelming doll whenever she is part of a series. Just think about the cheerleader series, series one, costume ball (even if I think costume ball Violet is the best Violet of all, she pales in comparison to the other three dolls of this series). I do like winter Violet even though she is not as interesting as the other winter dolls.

These have been at my Walmart for 3 weeks in Canada now, all of them but Poppy so went to next city Walmart to look for her but that store had none, so weird.

I really like this doll and the halloween Violet but I have the same qualms like the eyebrows…oof. She also totally does give Mona vibes 😂 I’m like one of Violet’s biggest haters. At least she gets better later on..? But Sunny deserves so much better. I LOVE the second outfit and the shoes but I agree we were robbed on the first dress. Even if they went more accurate to the final sketch…

As someone who loves Violet, this specific version is not it. The Runway episode honestly set her up to fail. That dress was unimpressive in the animation, and it's just as unimpressive irl. I also don't understand why her brows are brown, when her basic and Winter Break dolls have purple brows. She deserved a better design, and I agree this line should have come with more accessories like jewelry and necklaces. They should have all at least come with earrings. While some of the second outfits are fairly nice and detailed, I could have done without them if it meant that each doll got the same effort and energy and thought plus great accessories.

I’d hate purple eyebrows I also hate the idea of all dolls having color brows that’s so dumb RH hair and eyebrows are always best when they are different because they should look like they have dyed hair not natural purple or colorful hair

The dress is so lackluster. Those “feathers” are a very sad attempt. Maybe adding more feathers around the dress instead of one boring row would have saved the dress. 🤷🏻♀️

I feel she is very underwhelming. The color of her dress is pretty but I dont like the spray of pearls all over it. We get it RH, you can do studs and pearls....maybe less is more? I like the idea of the feathers but they didnt come out nicely and considering how they constructed Sunnys Crazy Dress....I dont feel there is much excuse. I feel she should have had the widower coat with either faux fur or feathers, in that silver pale purple color and then her "transformation" is when she opens the coat up she is wearing a long silky or sparkly dress (maybe made of the same fabric as her second outfit) but amp the color WAY WAY up. Like that second darker shade of purple in her hair. She would have also looked pretty with curls instead of the style she has. It also didnt hit the mark. Cute shoes tho....
No one will buy her. Needs flapper bracelets that go above the elbow. Flapper forehead band. Earrings boa. Flapper stuff. Maybe a crop hair style too. Re design. Flapper pearl necklace.

what the hell...the hair sucks, the dress MID, the face up boring, it's Costume Ball Violet all over again! that dress you two mentioned in the sketch book is wwwwaaaaayyyy better and would have been easier to produce even.
She's giving flapper vibes, but they should've went harder on it, like more accessories etc but tbf these weren't planned to be dolls in the first place so I'll cut them some slack
