Operations Challenge Vaughan Maintenance Event 2023

2023 debuted the Vaughan Maintenance Event, utilizing the Vaughan Chopper Pump. The scenario is a team responds to a sanitary pumping station serving a busy downtown neighborhood suffering from a buildup of fats, oils, and grease (FOGs). Teams complete normal maintenance tasks to diagnose problems at the FOG-clogged wet well, readjust a conditioning pump, replace a damaged impeller and pump nozzle, and return the pump to service.
