In an episode of 'Would I Lie To You' Katherine Parkinson revealed that in an exam at school, one of the questions asked: 'give an example of a mammal'. She wrote 'womble'...She and Eddie should get a room.
to be fair, we do have a lot of shows based on real animals, and animals using rubbish for there nest is a thing, so if someone told me that wombles where real, I wouldn't of questioned it back when I was younger
I fell for it too at one point. I once went to Wimbledon Common to look for Wombles when I was about 6 and couldn't stop crying when I couldn't find any after walking for an hour
Very good at hiding Wombles are I’m not surprised that you didn’t find one. You should’ve brought some chocolate hobnobs as it’s their favourite food 🏹🍪🦔🦔🦔
Fabulous, very funny series, Rick & Adrian were really a classic double act, they will always be remembered for the Bottom series, live shows and I think there was a movie. One of the things that really made me laugh so much.
@@davemustaki134 well for starters, they are not a type of Pokémon (but I think you would get more meat of a Pokémon then a Womble), and seconds of all, Wombles are the name of a small furry creatures that go around collecting rubbish people left behind and they live near a famous place in England where they play tennis.
I know, cos I’ve seen it , that badgers are actually able to skin hedgehogs, which is why, in a previous garden we had , with a large family of badgers , there were No hedgehogs .

Oh good, it about time. Nature developed natural predators for Wombles . Too common are they.
In a class of their own.
Unsurpassable 🤣
Those chocolate Hobnobs they were drying out over the campfire were the same ones they were fighting over earlier in the episode.
That's the joke

FACT this episode was made in 1992 but only shown in 1995 because someone was murdered at Wimbledon common just as it was due to be shown!
What did the Wimbledon incident have to do with this episode?

Didn't know they were in America
@@CarlySmith001They're not. It's the line about "red Indians".
@@Vesnicie Yeah
This episode was held back for a couple of years because of the 1992 murder of Rachel Nickell which happened on the real life Wimbledon Common.

How do Native Americans hunt hedgehogs when hedgehogs aren’t native to America?🏹 🍪🦔
some of the stuff in this would not fly today, and I don't think it be the native Americans complaining
