I think the female interviewer's intentions were good and true when she told Taylor that she would go home with men as well as trophies, but she could have said it in a less derogatory context. That's the whole problem here: The interviewer tried to give her a crude compliment but she took it as an insult. If there was nothing remotely true in that statement she'd shrug it off. Instead she took it personally (and why wouldn't she given her bad record with men) and made a crude retort. Some people have self-distance and have clever witticism to either dodge the question or retort in an equally funny manner. Taylor Swift has none of that.
