Los Juniors de California, a legendary music group from Los Angeles, was founded by two young musicians, Franky Mireles and Bacilio Rocha. Their unique sound, blending traditional Mexican music with modern styles, captivated audiences in Lynwood, Whittier, Compton, and beyond. Even spanding Texas / Chicago
Los Juniors de California revolutionized their music by recording live from the mixer, capturing the raw sound and ambience of their performances. This unconventional approach eschewed traditional studio recording, instead embracing the energy and spontaneity of live music.
The group faced numerous challenges, including the loss of Abraham Beltran Salazar, the original bajo Quinto player a close friend and fellow musician, whose passing remained shrouded in mystery. Despite this tragedy, they persevered, overcoming financial struggles, industry competition, and personal demons.
Los Juniors de California's innovative sound and captivating live performances propelled them to fame in Los Angeles. Their music resonated with fans of all ages, earning them a loyal following in Lynwood, Whittier, Compton, and beyond.
The heart of the group's chemistry was rooted in the dynamic bass playing of Chris and the driving drum beats of Beto. Their rhythm section provided the foundation for Franky's bajoquinto and Bacilio's accordion, creating the unforgettable sound known as Los juniors de California
Bacilio's Departure:
In 2018, Bacilio Roacha left the group due to mental health issues exacerbated by drug use. He was later diagnosed with schizophrenia, marking a poignant end to his time with Los Juniors de California. Franky Mireles eventually later departed Los juniors creating another group risen to fame Los encinos de Sinaloa , bringing an end to the group' Los juniors de California remarkable journey to a end later joining Adan alverez & rafa taking place of franky & bacilio
Los Juniors de California's legacy endures, with fans still clamoring for Franky Mireles and Bacilio Rocha to reunite. Although a reunion seems uncertain due to Bacilio's ongoing struggle with schizophrenia, their music remains a testament to the power of creativity and resilience, inspiring new generations of musicians and fans alike.
