I remember my uncle telling me all about wanting Super Mario All-Stars, and playing it with my other uncle on Christmas Day 1993. After my other uncle was killed in a car accident months later, the cartridge was left untouched for 25 years until I received his SNES and Mario All-Stars. Now that I've completed Super Mario All-Stars SMB1, I want to dedicate the time completing it myself in honor of both my uncles. I understand it's been 30 years ago they've wanted to play Mario on the SNES, and now I thank you for the time being to show this memorable video!
To be serious, though many people are blinded by the NES version due to nostalgia, the SNES' 16-bit remaster is so much better to me. I still own the All Star cartridge.
Exactly! Mario All-Stars versions is better than the NES version in EVERY WAY, even the improved physics. I hate it when people still try to assert that the originals were better. Sadly, so long as we have even 10% of Mario fans (or fans of any video game franchise) that try to claim the original is better than the remake, game makers are just going to rerelease lazy ROMs running on emulators masquerading as "remasters" instead of putting in the effort to actually develop a remake that's fitting for modern audio-visual and UI standards. And they will continue to market their laziness as FOR THE PURPOSE OF NOSTALGIA. The upcoming Mario 3D All-Stars for the Switch is a victim of this. Three ROMs running on Project64 and Dolphin emulators... and for $59.99 to boot (the original Mario All-Stars for the SNES was a mere $39.99 at most... and FREE with console purchase--talk about VALUE!!).
@@Cyrus_got_verified I have to agree that SNES version is almost completely better. The physics that lie in the brick breaking is absolute garbo in All Stara tho ngl. Probably due to the hardware of SNES screwing the physics engine ported over.
@@elijahdixon7681 I think it was an intentional choice, I don't really care but there's a fanmade patch to fix the block breaking physics. Also the general physics should be the same as the original since this port reuses a lot of the code of the original SMB

I'm a bit confused, because in 5-2, you jump directly through a bullet bill, then a hammer bro hammer goes right through you and then you kill a hammer bro mid-air by jumping into him and hitting him from below. I'm not saying that if you were using cheats that it was a bad thing- after all, this isn't a speedrun and you're trying to beat the entire game in one sitting. I myself would use cheats if I knew how, but I'm just wondering why you you didn't mention anything at the start of the video, or maybe I just don't understand the physics of this game as I've only gotten to the first bowser castle.

Where can I download this version?
I'm a bit confused, because in 5-2, you jump directly through a bullet bill, then a hammer bro hammer goes right through you and then you kill a hammer bro mid-air by jumping into him and hitting him from below. I'm not saying that if you were using cheats that it was a bad thing- after all, this isn't a speedrun and you're trying to beat the entire game in one sitting. I myself would use cheats if I knew how, but I'm just wondering why you you didn't mention anything at the start of the video, or maybe I just don't understand the physics of this game as I've only gotten to the first bowser castle.
Super Mário é um game que vai ficar marcado em nossas vidas eternamente.
This should’ve been a style for super mario maker 2
I have made a corse on mario maker 2 called super Mario bros SNES
I wish Super Mario Maker 2 had the art style from this game and Super Mario Land.
