An ex boyfriend of my sister downloaded the record soon after it was released back in 2001 or so and gave it to her as a present. This song was infiltrated by mistake and it was our favourite!!

I knew this song since my teenager life. Just thought it as a good song. Nice guitar and sweet harmony. That's it.
But now when I am older, almost into my 30, facing a lot of hardships and worst, serious health issues.
I am here again. Not sure exactly, but i feel like a bit more connected to lyrics.
It is scary to know you are falling down, without a parachute but this song gives me a sense on peace and acceptance. That's how lives go afterall. Thank you Guster.

@@mikedodson9121 that was a long time ago..but If I remember correctly, this song was put inside a circulation copy of a coldplay album of the same name and a lot ppl heard it first that album.

Thank you Guster for making amazing music. It took me about 20 minutes to remember the name of this song, but it holds so much significance to me. So many memories. I remember blasting this song in my car as a senior in high school and looking forward to the great unknown.

I found out about this song like 90% of the comment section, and they’ve been one of my favorite bands since. It blows my mind that this song is almost 30 years old cause it sounds like so ageless, like you can’t pinpoint what era its from
i learned this song just this year cus jam 88.3 was playing it while i was going to ateneo gs (ags) for thanksgiving mass. i had auto shazam on so i was also listening attentively to what the lyrics were, altho i couldnt hear 25% of it. im 12 yrs old and coming back to this song 1 day b4 grad makes me realize the same way as the comment from the person that's almost 30 yrs old being that its scary knowing you're falling down without a parachute, but it gives you a sense of acceptance and peace, because that's how life goes. there will be days where you know the way and follow it, but there will also be days where you dont know at all what to do. it will really feel like going down without a parachute or a dead end in the road. its ok if it happens, life's just life. we have to accept it. we cant let our emotions always get in the way of us that lead to mental outbursts. seek HELP. change your perspective on life because that 1 step will change everything. it gives me a sense of comfort listening to it and makes me feel grateful that ive improved myself from a young suicidal 11 yr old class officer, to a sort of brother/kuya figure in the community who knows when to have fun and also more loosened up than uptight. i thank God for my life and also living each day with my best friends and the ones i rlly love. OBF! One Big Fight :D

MEU DEUS! Procurei tanto essa musica por tanto tempo. Eu ouvi no album que baixei do coldplay Parachutes e tinha essa pro meio há uns 10 anos ou mais. Era uma das minhas preferidas e procurei de todas as formas por essa musica. Tinha no meu ipod nano que perdi faz muitos anos. Busquei varias frases dela ne internet e tudo mais... fui encontrar só hoje em 2023. To muito Feliz :) :)

È stato per molti anni quella che consideravo la colonna sonora della mia più importante relazione. Purtroppo, nonostante sia finita da tempo, oggi non sono riuscito a trattenermi dall'ascoltarla..e ovviamente mi ha fatto molto male..perché purtroppo non riesco a non sentirmi in volo senza paracadute. E la cosa più triste è che sono qui a lanciare un messaggio nel vuoto di internet, come se servisse a qualcosa. I was amazed how low,the view counts were on all of Guster. I grew up in the Midwest, college in Indiana, saw Guster in Milwaukee. They were really big at a time when the music industry was really struggling, and it’s like the world forgot about them.

There's a lot of Coldplay's ParachuteS (note the PLURAL) albums on the internet that have this song instead of Coldplay's ParachuteS song. Strange (and interesting). Coldplay's is a short 45 secs song that is NOTHING like this one. A single google search would have thaught you that...
This song was mistakenly put in coldplay's album at the time of release thus creating confusion.
