I'll be honest, at first I was not interested at all on the Ms. Marvel series because of the change on her powers origin story and tought it was a stupid decision but when I heard about the "Reed Richards problem" of both of them having similar powers I let that past. So when I watched this yesterday I tought I was gonna be hella bored but turned out being SO RELATABLE to me. Definetly I'm now on board with Kamala's new power source and how they add the unique style of art and the cinematography. I'm so excited for more!! 😎😎
The Reed Richards thing is a weird reasoning for the power change tbh (they’re nothing alike, and their powers are only SOMEWHAT similar…and even in the MCU, there are characters who exist with more similar powers). But I do like how Kamala’s being portrayed! Fingers crossed we still get the identity crisis aspect in the show that her stretchy powers were so important for
I always figured it was because stretchy powers are _really_ hard to get right in live action without looking terrifying and straight out of the Uncanny Valley and even though MCU shows nowadays have higher production values than most live action shows they still don't have the same budget as a full on movie like, say, Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness which must have had a massive special effects budget.
I loved this first episode! Kamala is so relatable and fun! I also really love Bruno (I feel like we don’t talk about him enough, we really need to talk about Bruno…😉) but in all seriousness I love all the characters and think this will be a really fun show
For some reason Bruno reminds me of Keefe from Keeper of the Lost Cities sort of. That won’t make any sense if you haven’t read it, but if you have, do you agree?

It’s been 4 months huh? Watching this again makes me wanna rewatch the whole show again. Aside from the antagonists, every single character in this show is so fun to watch

The attention to detail that Kamala believes the other heroes couldn't punch Thanos in the face except Marvel: We already know Iron Man pulled this off in Infinity War but that was on Titan and not Earth; Scott Lang was never on Titan. Hence she thinks no one else could do that / has done that.
2 of my favorite parts of this episode were seeing animated variants of Carol and laying out the plan too sneak to Avengerscon, especially since Iman got to wear a down sized version of Brie Larsons' movie costume.
The two characters are very similar. Both are awkward teenagers with superpowers who idolize the already established heroes (Peter idolized Iron Man and Captain America while Kamala idolizes Captain Marvel).
I don´t understand why people hate it so much, is so charming and creative!, it is not as popular mostly because Kamala is not as well know as the other characters of the Marvel MCU, people really should give her a chance

I just realized something. By acknowledging that Darth Vader and Star wars exist in their universe means that the Clone Wars movie happened which would have Mace Windu in it who was played by Samuel L Jackson and Jackson plays Nick Fury in the mcu.
The editing of the series is excellent. This is the first time I see such beauty. I've seen directors do it like they do in comics, but it's completely different. The lead actress was excellent. She is very cute

This is hilarious! Just a little tip though: when there is the music in the background and the music from the movie they kinda clash a bit. Not sure if you're doing it for copyright reasons but if you can temporarily stop the music when there is other music it might help
