Support is the best teaching tool from every role. Positioning it also give you the idea warding as this is can win you a game alone it gives you an idea for jungling as you will rotations. You also often will see good supports working with Jungle as shot callers. It will help some with solo laning but solo laning will also help with support in counter building when you blend these 2 roles you can master a lot of smite. One key for Carry and Mid is understand position you need to learn positioning but using you support as a shield. Now know that if you over pushing your lane you will become gank central. Learn from support how to freezing a lane. This is helpful with ADC play when supports rotate out.

New player here coming from Dota 2. Why is the ADC+Support vs ADC+Support lane so set in stone? Wouldn’t you rather send your carry to a 2v1 lane to have an easier time? And why is the carry lane on left side while solo lane is on right, every single time?! I’ve found Smite super fun so far but god the rigidness of it seems really weird to me compared to the flexible ‘anything can work’ nature of dota
No due to how the farming system works if you go adc with another role the XP will be messed up and the enemy’s mid or whatever will be solo farming and will just destroy due to being levels up on the adc/mid duo.So typically the support will stay for awhile with the ADC and then the supports will eventually rotate and let the ADC duke it out they kinda are there for soaking up damage and what not while letting their adc try and get ahead. Carry is always on the longest lane just how it is since ADC are typically ranged gods. What you’re saying makes sense to me as well but it will only be good early game if you were to go adc with another role. Once the other team gets levels they will start stomping on you and they have solo farm and gold which gets them their build faster hope this helped you if you need a teammate ever let me know I’ll help you out!
Some Realistic Guide for Smite 1:'' With rare interruptions from jungle ganks or other rotation'' Lmao when you guys play solo and random pick jungler come to aid from your team? Entire fcking enemy team living your lane but your jungler last seen in 2 years ago. 2: At 5:28 When you have to pick Support and your ADC just turn his back start shooting minions instead of 50 HP enemy or enemies and they ran away. Take to buff, kill 1 of them monster and 1 leave it. They get extra spawn time for that buff
Great guide finally feel like I can try conquest out now... Any suggestions of how to counter building or builds in generally just started playing smite it its easier to build in arena and assault but conquest im trash lol
I do well at arena but when it comes to conquest I’m the reason my team loses . I’m lost. What do you do after you take the first tower , I just run around aimlessly. Should I jungle a bit and then take the 2nd tower?
by the time you take the first tower teams usually start contesting the gold fury so try to gank and take 1 or 2 enemy players to secure the gold fury it's not advisable to go for the 2nd tower because u will extend urself too much and it will be easy to gank u also keep moving and farming it's very important to farm in this game
You probably should get into the habit of calling it left and right lane if you want to communicate with the VGS, sure the lanes swap sides depending on if your order or chaos but if you can't tell if your in left or right because of your spawn side you should probably not be playing with players yet and practise vs AI's instead. If your concerned about not being in a conquest match order side is the main side meaning solo is right and duo is left
If somehow this conquest game goes longer than 30 minutes, then it becomes an endurance test for one of the players. Make sure to stand up and move, cause this ain't good sitting for hours and not exercising. When it's a 50 minute game, either 2 of the players on both teams is lagging behind, OR the other much better team is just bullying the losing team. So this is a benefit to the losing team, if they can distract the winning team into losing, then the Losers will win the game >_>
I really like what ur doing it gives new players to learn quicker, a lot of new players quit cus they can’t learn on their own and thats the reason this game is dead
I've played smite on xbox since around the time chernebog came out. Before King Arthur, Baron, some of those fun ones that weren't busted at all. That being said, I played a variety of different roles and am usually really only bad at being a tank for some reason. One thing i still never understood is why mages usually go mid, hunters and guardians go duo, and warriors in solo? Why does something like using a hunter in mid not work out well, or at least not received well by teammates?
I tried learning conquest by playing co-op versus bots. That didn't go well. No one knew what they were doing and almost every game someone left or literally walked around the base the whole game just to troll us.

I might be wrong but isn't a hand full around five? He said it can be taken by a hand full to a full team.
I've played smite since ps4 beta but stuck to Joust and Arena. Conquest terrifies me but I'm hoping to jump into it soon.
I needed this
Man I wish I saw this video when I was new to smite😅
For the ADC wards, shouldn't they be placed closer to their own lane? Or is there something I'm too bad to realise.
Wait shouldn't the solo and adc wards be exchanged? Rn the solo laner's wards are at the duo lane right?
Thank you for the guide
16:17 I think the Key has the wrong colours here! Haha
ADC and Solo are the wrong way round!
watchin this when were aboit to go into season 8
Wow Smite has 5040(7!) seasons
I tried learning conquest by playing co-op versus bots. That didn't go well. No one knew what they were doing and almost every game someone left or literally walked around the base the whole game just to troll us.
