Gosh, those low price guitars getting better and better these days! Very impressive also about the look and the built quality as well... Think back like 10-15 years it was already good but nowadays all the brands put out very good content. This Ibanez looks amazing.
Seems everyone been looking at 'Fazley' they've had roasted maple necks on their budget guitars more than a few years now. I must say these Ibanez are cool guitars! I like the smell of the roasted maple to me it's lovely .Great playing again Dagan Happy New Year mate!
@@travelworld2738 i gifted it to my friends son because he is 10yrs old loves metallica and is learning how to play guitar and I wanted him to have a great guitar for playing metal music. I own many other guitars and un like many other people in the world I try and give back to people in this world and if I can do something like giving a guitar away to a young child to help him in his music journey then I am going to try and do that.

I guess the AZ Is a bit more different than the RG you already have, so maybe that? But you might prefer the Gio better because it’ll be familiar. Best to test them both out mate and see which best fits 🤘
Tuning stability- fair but im planning upgrade to locking tuner Tremolo- factory setup only allows you to do downward only. I did some adjustment on the bridge & spring so that can do both up n down. Pretty easy. Trem works great.
I didn`t like the headstock of the Ibanez guitars so when i found an inverted headstock Ibanez i bought it but now i`m seeing things differently that`s an awesome headstock ;)

You never explained the bridge. No tremolo arm but looks like a vintage tremolo. I saw a "stop bridge" name on a guitar site. Is this hardtail? Vintage trem? Is it a floating trem like a standard Fenders?
Just bought this axe yesterday incorrectly priced at GC for 239. Needs a better trem but mahogany body and roasted neck give deep resonant tone. Sounds better with reverb and dont see the need for nail polish, but ok...
Do we not buy the brighter finishes in Europe? Two models that I was going to get a couple of months ago have both been removed from both the UK website and stores. The art top on that Gio is hardly visible in that colour.
@@naskosokurov1815 yes but I just spoke to a guy who said that if you remove the bar that it can mess with the tuning and you have to block the hole to keep tuning stable. that's the one reason I may not buy this guitar. I don't want the tremolo. but fug it's such a nice guitar for a good price so I'm still deciding.
I used to believe Dagan was an EPIC player, because he puts out so many different tones within a few minutes of playing, but pay attention to his music after watching a few videos in a row. He puts out the same content other than covers. Once I realized that, it really freed up my own playing…I stopped holding him above me. Get to the place where you are your favorite rock star. 6:56
Ibanez is awesome! These guitars would have been a dream as a poor kid in the 80s dying for some Vai style guitar 🙂

The Ibanez Gio guitars are really nice for the price I had one for a couple years then gifted it to my friends son great guitars.
