I know the title was for the sake of the gameplay, but I don't get how people can't appreciate what we got. Roman went on a great reign but it was starting to dip into being bland before the Mania stuff reignited it. That was the right time for things to go in a new direction, with the big babyface win for Cody.
I don’t think it really was Cody matches aren’t good he’s boring when Roman was champ he was such a great heel so everyone wanted him to lose who has Cody replay faced that’s a great heel there trying to make the next john cena but he’s not him

I feel all great things should end on high notes not when they are stale, Mania 40 was the highest of highs to end on, and we got a fantastic sequence building to Cody's big win. Before Mania season Roman was getting boring, and if not Cody then who? Cause it would be years of Reigns barely being on tv before another worthy challenger appeared. And him breaking more records would seem less and less impressive with less decent challengers.
