What I like about this video, that you don’t see from any other creators that are “affiliated with a product”; is that you talk about what you do not, and will not take. I feel the presumption about fitness “influencers” (I hate that term) is that they just take all and every supplement their sponsor has for sale. It’s nice seeing transparency
That’s my goal! 😉 I’m sure Greg believes in all of them since the offers them, but I’m not going to act like I use everything. I try to be a minimalist person when it comes to stuff like that.
I saw your older vid the first time last week and just watched this one, cool to see you’re still honest on the things you like, Turk builder is a bit inticing but I wanna do it natural for as long as I can, maybe later I’ll go to it haha😂 but I just bought 3 packs or creatine but it has the 50% so the CAMBER didn’t apply but just want to let you know your vids are the reason I did the purchase! If that means anything 😂 appreciate the vid and I like Greg but I liked your review, you can tell you’re being honest about the products !
Thanks, bro! I’m thinking about maybe trying out the Turk in as controlled of a setting as I can to see if I notice a difference. About 6 months from now will be my 5 year point of hard consistent training & diet so I figure that’s a good time to try it.
@TrainerBigMike the grape flavor is definitely the best I’ve ever had so I hope they make that an option soon. Sometimes I’ll mix it up with like 2 ounces of water and the add a can of Sprite Zero and it’s legit.
Ever since Greg Doucette made a video were he basically summed up that if you do not have abs you are fat, I have been very sceptical of him. That said I don't think you're a sell out at all and even so, you take a lot of time to make these videos and even interact with us viewers, so you deserve to earn a little on it too. I like your transparency. ...As far as what I use, I only take protein powder (is that even a supplement) and d-vitamin and multivitamin. I have tried creatine, but I did a blood test with a bit high creatinene level, so my doctor adviced me to quit creatine and get my kidney levels stample again, although the numbers weren't alarming. Turns out that my kidney and kidney numbers had dropped down to normal levels 14 days after my first blood test. It was scewed numbers due to the creatine. Then he just asked me if I think I saw any benifit and to be honest I get creatine through my diet with red meats etc and I take care of my sodium levels through added salt etc, so there weren't really much benifit to taking creatine for me. For people that don't eat red meat, I could maybe see creatine as a substitute, maybe. But for me, money saved I guess. I am not a big supplements guy or advocator of supplements. I believe that you can get most bases covered with a well rounded diet, but I have nothing against others taking supplements.
I appreciate your comment. 👍 To give a little context though, when Greg said “if you don’t have abs, you’re fat,” he was talking specifically about bodybuilders who bulk so much that they don’t even look like bodybuilders anymore. And he further clarified that “abs” doesn’t mean a shredded 6 pack but rather just a faint outline of abs. I hear you on protein powder. I consider it more of a food. An on-point diet should ideally be the starting point for everyone before even considering supplements, but unfortunately most folks don’t really want to commit to it.
@@CamberFitness I might have been a bit too fast to judge Greg on that one then. That is the problem with social media, you get a headline and someone saying Greg said this and that, but the context is left out. It's nice to get it put into context, cause I thought it sounded ridiculous, but not out of the ordinary of things you can hear or see on fitness channels unfortunately. Commit or quit. Could be fun if you did a video about on-point diet, perhaps do a ranking/tier list or pyramide of importance, you could include supplements too and more specifically you could thereby rank supplements of their importance according to you. I am a sucker for those "Boom this gets an S-tier" kinda videos. You could do the same with exercises, and for each muscle group, there are a lot of filler/fluff exercises out there. I don't know, might not even be your style, but it would be cool to see you deep dive into what you believe are essentials foods and supplements.
Yea, Greg knows how to say stuff that’ll get people’s attention and get clipped out of context because even when something is spread in a negative way, it’s going to get views (and unfortunately MORE views most likely). I’ll have to add those ideas to my list of videos. I’m always up for trying new approaches! 👍
L- Citrulline Malate, Creatine and Dextrose (usually from honey to also get sucrose) 3 favorite things I buy in bulk I also use Beta alanine since it increases carnosine in body if taken long term, then of course creatine increase phosphate creatine stores in the body. Dextrose mirrors glycogen so it can directly turn into and replenish glycogen L-Citrulline Malate turns into Arginine in the body and give you the nitrox oxide boost
I started taking NAC bout a month ago bec i heard it helps with breathing And i could say that I have been getting better sleep I feel like I could run and actually breath It opened my nostrils a lot more Plus my wife said I been snoring a lot less I heard it also cleans your liver I am in a week break Im going to do another one To see if my breathing gotten worse or anything Just to see if it's need or just mind thing Also I am a heavy smoker(just weed) And for thoses wondering I could take heavier hits But I have heard if you have a history of lung or liver problems ask a doctor first I have a history of asthma and it isn't affecting me and I have consulted with my doctor bout the medication/supplement
I would think that stopping the smoking would probably help WAY more with breathing better than would taking a supplement. Kind of like saying, caffeine makes me feel more awake during the day, but I also only sleep 3 hrs a night. If you sleep 7-8 hrs a night, you wouldn’t need the caffeine to feel awake.
@CamberFitness yea, i have stopped smoking every day to smoke twice a week. ik it's not better , but honestly, i dont want to quit bec it's sum I like doing yk I do want to lower to once / biweekly Yk, it's kinda like ig going to drink once bi-weekly with a friend Personally, I hate drinking I find it nasty af not saying weed is better bec theyre both drugs doing nun of them is the best way to go in life, I did had a problem with thc pen(plus i read an article saying that a lot of thc companies are adding parasite that are illegal in US in their pens. Ik one of my favorite companies stizzy did got caught), but I stopped doing that and only do a flower Used do it twice a day to once a day to once every two days to twice a week I found for me what work best is to take slow instead of going cold turkey Plus, I heard that depending on drug going cold, turkey could be deadly to sum people I dont think weed is one of them, but I have heard xanax and alcohol could be deadly if going cold turkey if you're heavy/abusing user
I have no bad things to say about Greg his exercise advise is great but one thing is for sure true his supps are very overpriced you can get good quality for less money elsewhere
@@person-m6v sure. I didn’t say there’s anything wrong with it, but rather pointing out that there’s more to it than caffeine. You really don’t NEED anything. 😉
I did, but it’s a bit too much for me. I like the chocolate coated ones with the little Reese’s pieces in them. Although I will say the death by PB ones are better if it’s hot out cause they don’t melt on you.

It's so ridiculous when people are like. How dare you try to make money. You should be doing this all for free.
I hear ya! It’s kind of like telling folks they aren’t really doing their day job because they’re getting paid for it. 🤷♂️
Because a lot of the time people will push products they don't believe work to make money
That’s why I only talk about the things I actually use.

Awesome! 😉 I saw your IG post, and I think that’s the flavor I got in the 3.0. I’m almost out of all my 2.0 and about to switch over.

@@CamberFitness yeah I’ll get that flavor next. The last time I had a preworkout in grape flavor was maybe 12 years ago and that did not taste good
Also don’t forget (idk if he does this for other products) when you buy Turk, he sends out free sample of his other products which is nice
I think it’s probably a money spent threshold that triggers the extra samples because I’ve gotten that too when buying other stuff.
Sounds like you’ve used the Turk then? How’d it work out for you?
