    Thank you for the information. I’ve heard so many ways to hoop. But this one makes sense

    Great tips. I never use my 8 in 1s because I don’t like the sticky either. I’m going to try this

    Just got a set of fast hoops for my Ricoma EM1010! I am not adverse to using sticky stabilizer - I use it in my regular hoops a lot. When I use it in my regular hoops I pinch the sticky stabilizer between the top and bottom hoop, then score the stabilizer to expose the sticky. After tearing off the embroidery I can often use a smaller piece of sticky stabilizer to "repair" the torn hole. This allows me to re-use the same hooped stabilizer but refresh the sticky part. I can see that combining a clamping method of stabilizer to the 8 in 1 and then scoring the inside would help keep the 8 in 1 frames clean and still allow sticky to be used. I have clover clips and binder clips, but am interested in the clam clip dispenser! That looks so easy AND reusable! Thanks for your video!

    Great your video, you explain very well. I have a Brother 1055 and would like to buy some frames. One question: why you don't use 8 in 1 Quick Frame Magnetic Hoop for Embroidery Machine. I would like to know if you think they are more practical because there is no need to tape on the side since they are magnetized. Have you used any?

    • @CreativeAppliques

      I have not used the 8 in 1 magnetic hoop. I have not heard of it but it sounds wonderful! Thanks for your feedback and for watching.

    I'm interested in seeing how to choose the hoop size on the panel to get it to match the hoop that you're actually using.

    • @CreativeAppliques
      @CreativeAppliques  2 роки тому +1

      I choose from the hoop sizes on the machine that is the closest in measurements to the fast frame. Then I trace to make sure it will fit within the hoop

    A tip for keeping the frames clean is use double sided tape on the side you will be applying the sticky stabilizer. Apply it all around where the sticky stabilizer will be on the frame. I apply it and trim it to the frame with a razor blade. I then put the sticky stabilizer over it sticky side to the double sided tape. When done with embroidery I tear or I push out the stabilizer leaving the double sided tape underneath with the remains of the sticky stabilizer for the next design I’m applying a second for sticky stabilizer on what is already there and keep this going until I want to remove it all clean down to the fast frame. To do this remove the double sided tape with all the sticky stabilizer build ups. Comes out clean like new! Hope this is clear. In short the double sided tape will remove all that build up of the sticky stabilizer. By first applying the stabilizer on top. Remove the double sided tape. Comes up to clean frame.

    I’m getting Mines Tomorrow can You Show How To Center the item in the machine. And are there 8x8 frames for ricoma fast frames

    • @CreativeAppliques
      @CreativeAppliques  3 роки тому

      I will create a video showing how to center in the frame. I am not sure if there is an 8X8 frame for the ricoma. You can check here to see: shop.ricoma.com/?referral=creative-appliques.
      If they do not have one, you could probably contact the company Fast Frames directly and have them make one for you.

    What tape are you using to secure the stabilizer to the hoop initially? And what if you need to double layer stabilizer?

    • @CreativeAppliques
      @CreativeAppliques  Рік тому +1

      I am using regular masking tape. If I needed double stabilizer (which I very seldom use), I would tape each layer separately. Thanks for watching!

      Thanks. I have a very large order of drifit shirts to embroider and thought this was such a fast way to hoop. I would probably use 2 layers of cutaway or 2 layers of poly mesh since the material is thin and stretchy. Trying to be as efficient as I can!

    How do you determine if the frame bevel needs to slope down or up? I have a Brother 6 needle and can’t find the info anywhere where is shows what side of the frame I need to use. Sloping up or sloping down

      I do not have those hoops any longer. But if I recall correctly, the part that attaches to the arm needs to be higher than the frame. I suggest you contact the company you purchased the frame from and ask them directly to prevent any damage to your machine. Thanks so much for watching!

    How do you know what size to select on your machine? I have the Ricoma TC 1501 and was wondering how to know what to select for each fast frame?

    • @CreativeAppliques
      @CreativeAppliques  7 місяців тому

      I choose the closest hoop size to the presets in the machine. It is unfortunate that Ricoma does not allow for hoops to be programmed into their machines. Best I can tell you is to trace, trace, trace, before starting to stitch your design.

      @@CreativeAppliques First of all, thanks for the video and I love your work! I have purchased several of your designs for my new shop. I have actually been using Durkee EZ frames with the sticky stabilizer, and sometimes with the regular tear away using those clips. Love them too! However, lately I've been using my 8x9 Mighty Hoop on all my samples. Love love love the Mighty Hoop! If you try it, you'll love it too! :-) Thanks again for all you do, Dawn! :-)
