I just made this for my daughter. I used normal printer paper, a hobby knife, cutting mat and Elmer's white glue. It took a bit longer than I expected but it came out perfect.

I realized that using scissors to cut out the pieces was the most ineffective way of saving time while doing this project... but I did it anyways
then how could you cut the pieces in a more efficient way?

No, you need a thick A4 paper. Normal printing paper is around 80 gsm and you need to print on thick paper of around 120 gsm for papercraft

Can I ask what kind of paper is best for making this?
I used to make papercrafts in my early teenage years, and I've found regular A4 printing paper to be too thin. It often warps and deforms too easily. Using a thicker paper meant for things like technical drawings and arts usually worked better for me.
i usually use normal printer paper and it comes out fine
Description says they used 200gsm paper and i saw a comment where they said 120gsm is just fine (gsm= grams per square meter)
Finally got it done! It took a bit but it was worth it!
