I reckon most of the comments I'm reading aren't even technicians who deal with deere. I've rebuilt several john deere engines using reman parts and the engines I've put out have performed as well as new.
You do have to be careful with some of the JD Reman product, some of the more basic parts like starter motors are fine but I know of a few problems with some. The VGT’s are especially known to be shoddy and some engines as well. Finding good staff is a problem and even JD can’t recruit it seems. The reason why Deere have to offer longer warranty is that’s the only way it can get sold 😅

What I’ve found is it seems like all of sudden a well-established business, LIKE JD REMAN, needs to be advertised and “puffed up”, they’re hurting for business.
I'm a hard core JD guy but I would never touch a JD reman. I hear way too many bad experiences. It is a shame, it should be a great idea.

Deere reman products have been nothing but garbage for me
Havnt had any issue with reman engines or transmissions. But reman starters, alternators, and injectors are total junk
