Ain't never been in a coal mine. Folks can talk down about them all they want. You can't never say Jesus ain't never gone down into a coal mine. Any place that has preaching and singing in the break room before shift, Jesus follows y'all down! And up!

Makes me miss W.V. I'm going to move back in a few years after I get enough money to put a down payment on a home, nearly all my family is still up there and I'll be working the mines, it's the family business and it's time for the next generation to move in, our country needs coal and we need miners to provide it, I'm going through fire academy in N.C. right now but I have to honestly say I don't like this state or my area, just too many people, I'd rather risk black lung and be with my family than to get cancer (in my area I'm 50% more likely to get cancer than the local population) or burn up in a structure away from them, our family is tight knit, we work together, fight together and die together if necessary, I don't have that down here so I'm going back to W.V. love to my firefighter, police, EMS and coal digging brothers, sisters and friends. May God help and bless our country!
West Virgian boy living in NC too here I can honestly say i miss mountrain mama every day, i miss the rolling hills the valleys and most importantly the people. I too will be returning as soon as i can. P.S. which part are you from i'm from Wayne, West Virginia
@@combathistoryoverloaded6738 I'm from McDowell County, and I'll tell you that place needs some help, if the local government was to use the prisoners in the jail in welch to clean up the roads and rivers they could put up zip lines and make all kinds of money from tourism
