That was an awesome video. Being able to catch that moose on film was incredible. Finding that loon nest was also awesome. Thanks for sharing. Most respect to you for spending the time with your son and teaching him the great outdoors. Need more fathers doing this instead of playing video games. Hats off to you. Hope to see more.😍

This is a very good video. The sceneries are beautiful. It reminds us how beautiful our country is. I am watching your video regularly now. I found out about you through "My Self Reliance." I am retiring soon and I am looking forward walking my dogs on the trails in this area. I live in northern New Brunswick. There are some beautiful spots around here. I love to pick wild mushrooms.... "Chantrelles". I will have more time to do that now. Bringing your son on these expeditions is the best education in the world. Putting up the tent, starting a fire, cooking a meal; these are all activities that, once completed successfully help self-confidence. I observe that he smiles all the time. He is happy.

Hey, this looks like a great trip! Just started watching, but I love seeing this part of the park. I worked for AO years ago driving the Taxi's and it really holds a special place in my heart, been over that Proulx portage more times than I can count! I need to get back to the fire tower on Big Crow soon, before it's gone forever! The first time I was up it the structure still remained at the top, now it's just a steel skeleton, cheers eh!

actually, grand lake to green leaf is a bigger portage at 5635 m. there used to be a 6400 on bonnechere creek, but they removed that route.

    • @DrenalinAdventures

It's not ideal, thats for sure. The water levels were very high that year but there was a calm pool were we caught the fish from that spot.
