Seeing the images is the hardest part wallahi. I’ve literally cried like never before. The anger, the helplessness, the utter inability to change the situation has been such a hard test of my faith . Ya Allah grant us steadfastness and patience. Grant our brothers and our sisters patience and victory ya rabb.

I'm not Muslim, nor am I religious. But I follow Dr. Omar Suliman and listen to his readings and comments. I don't know why. But he is calm, positive and strong in.his faith and dedication to Islam. That's a wonderful thing.

Thank you so much. I needed this today. For the past few days I’ve felt totally paralyzed from the images I’ve seen… like actually unable to want to get out of bed, my soul feels exhausted. This came at the perfect time.

Though this crisis I am considering converting to Islam.
May allah help you in seeking inner peace and fill your heart with love, kindness and wisdom. I was born a muslim, but never have i been serious in my practice. Came a time when i was telling myself that i was a lost cause and that allah will not look after me, so i filled my heart and soul with non-sense, sin and rebellion.
Last week, i was so angry about what is happening to our sisters and brothers in Gaza that i cried my heart out, until i remembered the teachings of Dr Omar with whom i share the same name soubhanallah), and it set me on the right path.
So i began reading quran with the intention to understand the world through it, and i found so many answers to all my questionning, sometimes i stumbled upon verses that were speaking about the same situation that i was going through.
And today, it has been 6 days that i do my prayers on time, that i stay up at night reading quran, seeking knowledge from these beautiful scholars, revived my faith in Allah and the day of judgement, Prayed with an assembly of brothers from all over Africa (i live in ivory coast, and i was the only white boy in the mosque), and i felt this unity and great patience in the heart of the believers.
Now i can't wait to speak to Allah again in my mid-day prayer, enjoying every second of it, and feeling more free than i have never been in my life.
All i ask from god is to allow me to maintain myself in this path, because i am already witnessing some extraordinary changes in my habits (no more alcohol and drugs), my look changed, my smile is brighter even though terrible things are happening to our brothers and sisters, all of this because of my certitude that what is coming next is better and eternal.
May allah guide you towards the better, protect you from the distractions of life and give you a purpose so you can live in peace in this life and the next one inchaallah.

Our ummah. I saw a little boy , around 2/3 year old , he had his whole stomach missing but he was still alive. My heart broke could not deal with it , but after hearing this message I have comfort, that the little baby boy had angels with him that were comforting because he was not crying.
The only person that stands up with Palestine since day one and sending messages to the whole world, may Allah swt help the people of Palestine 🤲🤲😭😭

I struggle with what I see at a distance on a flat screen, I do not feel the energy or smell the smells. But I can not help but think of off those who came before of us and the horrors of their lives. A world built on pain. Emotional, Physical, Spiritual. Thank you for this,Its not something I communicate about. This is you acknowledging our humanness.

Jazakullah kheir Sheikh Omar, I really needed this. The images coming out of Rafah and Jabalia are so graphic and horrific, it was making me despair immensely.
They were words of authenticity, they made me think about what is within me.
