The main feature of Sri Sri Sri Maa Budi Santani Thakurani Jatra or Goddess Festival of Berhampur is to have different attire or "Besho" to fulfill the "Manisikho" by the devotees. The most popular among the "Besho" during the festival is "Bagho Nacho" .
Berhampur is in festival mood with illumination and lightings all around the streets and market places. The pendals and exhibitions in Berhampur give attraction to the devotees and the tourists visiting Berhampur. The biennial Goddess festival happens to be the biggest festival of South of South Odisha. The festival started on March 29 and continue still April 29 when the Goddess Maa Santani goes back to its Main temple with thousands of Gathas accompanied.
