The role of a sales associate is to provide exceptional customer service, respond to customer queries and complaints promptly, and also look for upselling and cross-selling opportunities in order to help increase company revenue. It is a role that is needed by the majority of organizations, and it requires a unique set of skills and competencies to perform the role to the standards necessary.
WHAT MAKES A GOOD SALES ASSOCIATE?
A good sales associate is someone who can inform the customer about products and services relevant to their needs. A good sales associate also provides great customer service and care.
WHAT ARE THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF A SALES ASSOCIATE?
The main duties and responsibilities include meeting and welcoming customers, answering questions about products and services, offering other products and services suitable to the customer's needs, and also making the sale complete.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO A SALES ASSOCIATE INTERVIEW?
Make sure you dress smart and wear a formal suit or outfit that is representative of the image you want to portray. Sales Associates should be smart and well-presented.
WHAT QUALITIES SHOULD A SALES REPRESENTATIVE HAVE?
- Be dependable;
- Learn the sales associate role quickly;
- Provide excellent customer service and care;
- Have in-depth product knowledge;
- Use effective sales techniques;
- Be an ethical salesperson;
- Be flexible and be able to work unsociable hours;
- Good teamworking skills;
- Be able to work under pressure.

The woman for Adidas had said I did a great job with the interview over video and that she was impressed how I incorporated the description into my answers, she said I was the first interviewer to do so! I passed the first interview and have my last second interview with the manager there tomorrow, hopefully all goes well and I land this job with ease.

I just finished a interview for sales. It was third and final one with head of global sales so i got a bit nervous.
Thanks to these tips i answered confidently and end of the interview got a positive feedback that he got all necessary answers out of questions. Also i gave good answers and was clear. From now on i wait for their decision. Wish me luck.

Of course , you can ask about paid time off , salary , vacation time /benefits or pay schedule if they didn’t state any of that while interviewing you .

I recommend remembering points you want to make in every answer but don't worry too much about memorising entire answers :)

Just say you can work the hours needed and that you have systems in place where people can help you. Your baby comes first though, so if the job seems to not accommodate you and your needs, you could look elsewhere. Most employers are accommodating nowadays. I hope you pass!
