- The day's victory went to Robin Faustini. He was the fastest on the mountain in the first run on a wet track in the morning and on a drier track in the afternoon. He distanced his direct competitors Christoph Lampert from Austria and Joël Volluz from Valais by 2.5 and 4.4 seconds. This meant that Faustini won the Swiss Hill Climb Championship for racing cars 2024 in front of around 10,000 spectators.
The well-attended Oberhallau Hill Climb directly on the Swiss border with Germany was overshadowed by a racing accident this year. Not again... but Joël Burgermeister - contrary to initial fears - survived the collision with a tree and then the embankment so well that he was able to report himself from the hospital in Winterthur on the evening of the race day. He is doing well considering the circumstances.

"Komm bald zurück an den Berg"? welcher trottel schreibt sowas? burgermeister hatte riesiges glück, diesen unfall überlebt zu haben. wie kann man sich wünschen, dass er wieder rennen fährt und nochmal sein leben aufs spiel setzt?
Ich frag mich echt wer hier der Trottel ist. Einfach leise sein. Danke
Wenn Joel nicht schon im Krankenhausbett den Wunsch geäußert hätte, so schnell wie möglich wieder wie im Rennwagen zu sitzen...
Der hoffemann fährt nächste Saison auch wieder und hatte noch nen übleren crash das sind racer die steigen halt irgendwann wieder in die Kiste und der Joel wird das auch tun aber erst mal gute Besserung und schöne Grüße in die Schweiz 🇨🇭
