This mission is a fair bit more extensive than Hope actually. It includes not only an orbiter (as with UAE's Mars Hope) but also a lander and a rover. This is the first time in history any country has sent all three in one launch to Mars, and it is the single largest Mars mission in history thus far by payload (with a payload weighing roughly 5 metric tons). I'd hardly call this a copycat mission. Regardless, very happy to see the success of both Hope and Tianwen thus far. Looking forward to both arriving in Mars orbit. 🇦🇪🇨🇳🚀
