Can't wait ... just like a kid waiting for xmas. Did anyone as a kid, secretly open ALL their gifts beneath the tree *before* xmas when the adults were asleep or not at home? Who will admit it right here on YT? Assuming you celebrated it this way...
The narration, the music, the eerie atmosphere, the sound effects, the marvellous singing, the artwork. All top notch. One can only imagine how much work goes into each story. It's very much appreciated, Jasper. Thanks again for the best channel on YT.
❄️ That was an excellent little chiller!!!❄️ I’m loving all your holiday horrors!!! Thank you so much for all creepy Christmas cheer you bring! You’re keeping me in the spirit! ❤️☃️
AHA! After my second listen, it made sense. Yes, I also read the comments after my first listen to make more sense of it!! This one definitely gets your imagination purring. Thank you SO much oh mighty master of storytelling 😁 and Merry Christmas to you & yours.
Ask not for whom the bell tolls... Mmwa ha ha ha. Brilliant Mr Lestrange! I think that it's very clear that you competely nailed this one like a shadow to the wall. Audio Noir perfection. 🙇🙇🙇
Excellent little story, and as clear cut an example of the theory some writer had of the Christmas ghost story as always boiling down to the intrusion of the cold (real winter, and death) into the artificial warmth (of the home/holiday) as I’ve ever seen. And you went ahead and SANG a line or two!
I love the music, but I understand. Some of us with failing hearing or spectrum related perception can experience a lot of difficulties separating the two or multiple sounds. Synaesthesia can cause a riot of colour which is distracting. Personally, I think it perfects the mood and enhances the story. But I do understand that there are people it won't suit . 🤓
Great story and narration. I like the snowflakes, music, and background noise. The narration is excellent without them, and they add a "seasonal" tone. L.P. leaves us guessing again! Thanks!
My Good Sir Master Story Teller may I Welcome!!!!! Sir Jasper La’Strange 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 I love stories with my name in them I just never seen anyone with the same spelling Jerimi has anyone seen it spelled this way?? I bid you all a Good Day😅
I mean, it's left to the imagination as to what happened between Marriner and the man (and son). I took it that since they were dead he had one less expense that year (mentioned at the start) and extrapolated from that that maybe he had been paying for a lovechild and recently decided enough was enough. Note how he tried to stop his wife going to the door. But perhaps she also is aware of his infidelity (reference to her tact). Just my theory though.
@@EnCryptedHorroryes, you reap what you sow etc. A really great little story that packed in so much tension in such a short space. And your narration done it justice I thought. Bravo
Here's another Christmas story, this time from the pen of L. P. Hartley. Hopefully have the next one ready by the weekend. Stay spooky! 😱 J

We’re being spoiled!! And very grateful for it. 🙏
Thanks Jasper, you’ve been working hard lately. I like this author, he’s a rum old cove!
Thanks *Jasper* 🎄🎁🎁🎁🎁🎁 🎄 63 year old story
Looking forward to this thank you Jasper
I've really gotten into these Christmas ghost stories. What a great tradition. And with you doing the narration it's even better! Thank you Jasper❤
That was a chilling one! Thank you!
Another wonderful narration and story. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into these for us all to enjoy! ❤❤

Oh, how divine. Thank you for your Guinness-like voice.
Ooh, that was properly gripping! 🙂♥️
One of the few voices on YT I can not just tolerate but enjoy! Excellent once again!
Thanks for listening! 😊
I love Christmas stories!! The voice its very good
Excellent ❤
For anyone else who struggles with the music: Don't worry, it stops at 0:42.
The narration is really good, and the story is quite excellent.
Who would struggle with the music? And why would they worry?
@@EnCryptedHorror I like the music 🎶 🎵 😌

Don’t you just ‘love’ people who speak/ comment in absolutes!
@@Story-Voracious66 I understand too, to be honest. I was just feeling grumpy 🤭. Whistles and bells is my schtick and I'm schticking to it.
Delicious. Thank you!
I appreciate your work, and I love the snowflakes. Thank you 😊
Wonderfully chilling. Your stories are adding so much to this Christmas season!
Glad you like them!

Ooh horrid. Great story for Christmas ❤
so, what did the father do to them last year? it's implied he got them killed, or did i miss something? help :)
I think he’s a ruthless businessman who drove the ghost guy to kill himself and his child.

@@EnCryptedHorror you’re so clever! Of course that’s it!
No, you didn't miss anything. Some authors get a little too oblique for my taste.

Is Mr. Marriner a CEO by any chance?
Is R.P any relation to J.R. Heartly who wrote Fly Fishing?
L.P. 🙂 I wondered who the first person to mention Fly Fishing would be. You win 🥇😄
@EnCryptedHorror I doubt our American cousins or anyone under 40 would get the reference.
