More of a challenge for me + The reason I shiny hunt isn't so much so I can get the shiny, but the journey it takes me on. How many resets? How many phases? Sure higher numbers can be super annoying, but afterwards when I have the shiny I'll be more attached to it than if it was the 5th shiny that I got in an hour or something. Basically, for me shiny hunting is as much about the journey than it is about the destination.
I actually got Pokérus while hunting for Chatot, and I didn't record the summary page until after I already got and spread it lol. Fun fact: I got Pokérus in both save files of BDSP before I could find a shiny Chatot or a Girafarig

I'm just curious, why not use the Pokeradar? I got like 5 shiny Buizels in 2 hours, what's the point of 10,000+ shiny resets?
