Hello mark. I’m 60 years old and from first grade, I NEVER finished any art projects. Your simple, step-by-step approach has changed that. Thank you so much! All my best. Martin.
@@MichaelJOneill333 Saying they're 9 isn't mean, sheesh. It's just an observation. It's a pretty fascinating notion that this would be the first time someone is hearing the word in this context, and would imply that the person is very young, and they're just pointing that out. You're reading into it way too much. You should probably spend a little less time online, especially if you're so fed up with all the negativity that you're seeing it even where it isn't. You got this. 😉
VERY NICE. I'm 60 yrs young and have been an artist/tinkerer/model builder (even from scratch) when I was much younger now years later now I'm considering doing some new illustration portraits after losing my illustrations over the last decades This technique really can cut a lot of time off my new illustrations for me especially at my age. 👍🏻
Superb stuff. 2 years ago I purchased a sketch book and artists pencils as I wanted to learn how to draw, I've never used them, your short tutorials have now given me the confidence to try, thank you so much 😊
I'm 56 yrs old and my drawings have always been good but not great until now. Thank you so much. Wish your tutorials were around when I was starting out
Thank you so very much. I'm trying to draw man hands for the working men in my life. I took pics, and they r folding hands. Could you do more hand videos, please? Thanks, and I truly love your videos..
You sound A LOT like Destiny. The streamer, except you don't speak as fast & this content is super soothing. Big props, I love the skill but also the fact you're teaching others :)
Never heard the word thumbnail in a sentence that actually referred to the nail on your thumb in my life. This is the first time I heard it being used like that LOL
I think the best advice i got was to draw what I see. Maybe it was a personal thing, but when I was taught things like this I was trying to utilize this because I wasn’t trying to draw what I saw I was trying to follow measurements and process. I’m sure this serves a purpose in the beginning and I’m really not trying to knock it, but sometimes I question these teaching methods. But again this might be more personal experience and took me a while to really look at a model understand and draw what I see. This is an edit: I guess this is more for a cartoonish style. So maybe I’m overthinking it and serves more of a purpose. I think the hand looks great, and if it helps people, than please keep doing what you doing!
This is great for drawing this specific hand shape. However, if you would like to draw anything you can imagine you must develope a deep understanding of the fundamentals. Practicing simple shapes and relaying that knowledge to complex figures is a great starting place! :))
Perfectly said. This kind of exercise is for beginners to get an early win. That win (hopefully) will fuel the passion needed to work through anatomy, perspective, proportion, shading, etc. 👍
@@markliamsmith yeah people as they get older they seem to need a win to feel like they are actually doing something of worth with their time. however i don't know how many actually stick with it.

I'm 60 also however I live to Draw I always had the bug to Illustrate or make models and make things from scratch.
Simple, but I can't seem to make it happen.

At the beginning the perspective of the fist was the opposite to the actual one you drew, I'm really amazed by your skills 😮😮😮

WOW great🎉
Very situational technique
"there are four of them." thank you for that ground breaking information.
This is a genuinely brilliant tutorial. Drawing fist was the bane of my existence back in the days. No more. Thanks!
thanks
Excellent! 😊
Incredible as always. Can't wait for your book.

Homie giving me Bob Ross vibes with that tone of voice lol
The Black Power hair pick handle from the 70s 😂😂😂
BEAUTIFUL!
Its alot easier when you've got a preexisting fist outline to draw over
Yes. And a lot easier to demonstrate so that people wanting to learn can see where the drawing is going.
Wow! Love the way you break it down.
You did a good job

Yes, I do hand videos often. I have about 10 different poses already posted.
Excellent!
Thank you for your tutorials. It seems so much easier.
You did what Ive been asking for a very long time, not just step by step, but the process of how it goes from just lines to actually art. Thank you
Awesome!!
This kinda felt like the "draw the horse" meme. Just kinda appeared out of nowhere.

One of the best tutorials I have ever seen. Keep it up.
Fantastic, I used to love drawing hands. Got old and forgotten how much I liked to draw.
In 1968, two Olympians were sent home for doing the same thing !!!! 🔥😎💥
If i had to teach MYSELF this from scratch it would literally take me a million years to figure out
As a professional illustrator I still love watching your videos 😂
Thank you
When I was drawing. I wish you was my teacher
Best hand/fist drawing tutorial I've ever seen. Thank you.
I can’t breath ✊🏾✊🏾
Wow! You have inspired me with your videos. Thank you so much for sharing 😂

It's funny because he actually drew the thumbnail.
