You are correct as I also stated in my video description and in the video itself. I'm just guessing that in 11 days I won't have to deal with the "It isn't really the 50th anniversary yet!" comments anymore.
This was very cool to see and thank you very much for taking the time to put all this together and sharing it with us! Excited to hear that you guys will be going next year for the 50th Anniversary! Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!
This is awesome! Love the Remar cameo and his Piano playing skills! I was thinking that too maybe it was filmed in 73 the Christmas before but IMDB has it listed being filmed Mar 25, 1974 - May 11, 1974. Who knows how correct that is but if it is correct they did a good job as it looked like Christmas and didn't notice anything that could of been filmed in April or May.
But they would have been in pre-production in 1973 for sure. So I'm sticking with 50th anniversary. in just over a week people will stop gripping about it.
Production dates apparently started in February '74, so it's one of those classic movies that came out (October) the year it was made like Carrie (1976) for instance.
Just saw this for the first time. It was on creature features, UA-cam channel , it was 2 Fridays ago. I enjoyed the movie, and it was strange to learn this was Elvis favorite Christmas movie.. Very well done sir. 👍👍
My Favorite Slasher of All Time, Awesome HHH Locations video!!!🎅👍 F E 22080 is still the Pi Cappa Si Sorrority House exchange ..."Somethin' Dirty ain't it".
Another awesome video!! As always the banter between you and Scott was top shelf!!😂. Now when I hear “Warriors come out to play!” I’ll think of James Remar at the piano!!😂😂👍🎃🐈⬛
Hello Steve...heard through the grapevine you may be on the search for an orginal Black Christmas one sheet I have the Us one printed for the canadian release with Black Christmas printed on the poster (not a snipe) These posters are extremely rare. Let me know if you are interested
I know I'll catch some shit, but I don't think the 2006 remake is bad at all. I like it. The original is way better, but I think the first remake gets beat on too much. Happy holidays and thanks for sharing!
Did you visit Dave Macre for its me billy 2 his fan sequel 😂 Scott on tape is awesome btw I've watched a few of his videos! Didn't know you were friends but makes perfect sense ,I thought that was him and then you said it I was like there's the true crime vid dude! awesomeness 👌
Can't wait to watch this... I watched this movie for the first time a few weeks ago... I have not had a slasher make me think so hard and talk about the film after the fact since... Forever. Legendary film.
I have been in both the police station and the house. Actually the police station/community centre hosts tons of 12 step meetings so I have been there many times. And nobody ever cared when I told them it was the Black Christmas police station. So thank you for caring. As for the house, I used to help a friend who was an HVAC guy for a few extra bucks here and there and he did an install of new heating ducts back in the late 90s. I haven't finished the video but I am so excited that you chose to film these locations I wanted to share this right away!
I feel this film is highly underrated in the Horror community. While we never get a clear view of the killer's face or identity, I think it makes the mystery so better than many later ones. I think the downbeat ending is one of the best, along with the OG Texas Chainsaw massacre and Halloween, as it makes the viewer feel that there will not be a happy ending at all, as the killer is not caught or killed. The remake tried too hard to explain too much and keep a short run time. great video as always Sean. stay safe. happy holidays
Hey Sean were you originally going to drop this on Christmas day or am I getting things mixed up? Anyways great job as always man, have a great Christmas
Cool locations on this classic flick. I just watched it the other weekend so the scenes are fresh in my mind. I enjoyed the tour and matching up the shots.🤘🏼 Merry Christmas!
For my money... Horror's Hallowed Grounds is the OG and still the absolute best for the genre! Scott is another dude I really love watching! So grateful for you both! Keep up the great work, fellas!
Mr. Clark, how lucky you are to go epic places like this. I thank you for sharing all of your amazing adventures with us. Black Christmas is one of the all time classics which I watch every year! Great video! 50 years! Hard to imagine! Clark Power Unite!
Nice one Sean, Love this movie, have to watch it every year! Are you related to Bob Clark?!! Has to be asked. Hard to beleive he went from this to Porky's! Have a very Merry Black Christmas!
6:40 Hey James Remar. One of his most memorable roles I instantly recall was his small part in 'What Lies Beneath'. I loved that movie. Seen it so many times. He was terrific in his part playing the neighbor. He was also probably the closest match to the original cop in Psycho as you can get in that remake. The voice and face, everything about him. Also in Pineapple Express he had another small part with that intro scene but totally memorable. "We've reached a final conclusion on item 9........illegal!!!" 😄
I love the lengths that you go to bring good location shots to your videos im always amazed. And while it was sad to find out we missed your original banter with Scott due to the mic mishap, the footage you shot as always was really awesome! Plus the bonus footage of James Remar playing the piano (priceless). Amazing how much the trees grew around the house compared to the shots of you and James Duvall. 50th anniversary awesomeness! Thank you Sean!
Imagine owning the house then all of a sudden find a liquor bottle stashed somewhere that they forgot to remove after filming, would be a well aged piece of movie memorabilla.
Some say Billy is still hiding somewhere in that house to this day… Another great video just in time for the holidays! Thanks Sean (and Scott) for making these awesome vids. Also Sean, will you be having any H45 footage on your channel?
Nice editing.... until the extended, pointless section where you waste film wondering about pretending to be teenagers. Your best video footage involves you acting your age.
Wiki says "The film was shot from 25 March to 11 May 1974", so you're roughly 3 months shy of the 50th anniversary if we want to get technical about it. 😜

A movie shot in Canada, released mainly in Canada, but thanks to one U.S flag on Saxon's desk it's set in America. Odd choice. They do that quite a bit more these days. Why not set movies like Final Destination in Canada? Are we going to be like "ah screw those guys. Their Canadian"?
😊 so you either decided with one of the villains in the film or are you just like. And you're upset that the new 2019 pulled out part of the plot and put a magnifying glass on it
That’s actually the wrong room for the piano scenes. Although that one looks close, the scene was filmed in Seeley hall at Trinity college (the old building seen straight through soldiers tower). It looks the exact same still, and even has the same paintings up! Only thing missing is the tapestry. They’ve recently moved the old piano into the hallway. To get there, go through Trinity College’s main entrance, go up the old staircase near the welcome desk and the room will be on the left :)
Thanks Sean! One of my favorite horror movies! Kinda a bummer you were not able to get inside the house. I am curious what it is looks inside. Love your HHH series. Keep up the awesome work!
I seen this vhs in my mums collection thought it was a Christmas movie don’t remember how old I was maybe 8 not sure shit the life about of me all I remember is a women in a rocking chair near a window just watched it took me right back to that little boy on the floor.

This film rocks....Scott AND James Remar.... Sean YOU rock! Awesome video 👏
⚠️ The 50th Anniversary of Black Christmas (1974) USA release will actually be on December 20, 2024
You are correct as I also stated in my video description and in the video itself. I'm just guessing that in 11 days I won't have to deal with the "It isn't really the 50th anniversary yet!" comments anymore.
Bob clark made the best two of the best Christmas movies Black Christmas and A Christmas Story
Cool. Most people don't realize that Toronto is such a movie making mecca, and for allot of horror pictures too.
Good one, thanks for giving some love to this underrated classic.
Wow!! Imagine bumping into Dexters dad?! AWESOME 🤩
Awesome work Sean ... Hope you and Nay have a Great Christmas ✌🏼
This was very cool to see and thank you very much for taking the time to put all this together and sharing it with us! Excited to hear that you guys will be going next year for the 50th Anniversary! Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!
Very cool that you had James Remar in this video!
Super cool as always! Thanks Sean for another awesome filming location vid! 🎄🔪
A timeless classic
I thought it was a dorm house
So huge !!!
Great video 😎🩷
We saw this movie in a theater in the late 1970s but it was called Silent Night, Evil Night.
Solid Christmas horror flick.
Well done Sean, you’ve created yet another FL masterpiece 🏆
This is awesome! Love the Remar cameo and his Piano playing skills! F**k yeah! You are the best Sean
*Creepy, atmospheric ending!*
Awesome video great content 👍
Surprised to hear that hockey rink was hard to find. Although, being Canada, I suppose hockey rinks are a dime a dozen.
There are TONS of them. It's like looking for a baseball field in the U.S.
Hello Steve...heard through the grapevine you may be on the search for an orginal Black Christmas one sheet
I have the Us one printed for the canadian release with Black Christmas printed on the poster (not a snipe)

I hope he remembered to text Neve back.
Who knew Ajax was a piano virtuoso?
I know I'll catch some shit, but I don't think the 2006 remake is bad at all. I like it. The original is way better, but I think the first remake gets beat on too much. Happy holidays and thanks for sharing!
When you gonna give Robert Russler some ❤ by doing a Stephen Kings Sometimes They Comeback filming locations or better yet NOES 2 ?
Sweeeet!!!
Hopefully the rest of his Warriors gang members find out that A-Jax plays piano?
Sean, how do I get your autograph? Hook a brother up here.
Movie was so good that they had to do a remake twice! And butchered both of them
Can't wait to watch this... I watched this movie for the first time a few weeks ago... I have not had a slasher make me think so hard and talk about the film after the fact since... Forever. Legendary film.
Try halloween 1978 next
@@talktalk2412that one is a favorite already
Just watch it on Christmas. You will feel it.
Oh man I love this movie, one of my favorite and have to watch every Christmas. Thanks for doing this one.

Lol the “please do not place any items on the piano” stand is ON THE PIANO🤔….🤣🤣🤣. Haha great video Sean (and Scott and James) 👍🏻

Quite liked the remake from 2006 but can't top the original. Cheers for this Sean.
P.S The house is near Yonge St yeh?
But James Remar can't be in it! He's not in the movie! Can you ask Chris to do my mask rehauls?
Loving the Toronto series and can’t wait for Meatballs #ItJustDoesntMatter
Cool locations on this classic flick. I just watched it the other weekend so the scenes are fresh in my mind.
I enjoyed the tour and matching up the shots.🤘🏼

oh shit that's the actor from Sex and the City, Richard, and 48 Hours, he's awesome! Maybe I should have just admitted to 48 Hours.

Would’ve been great if you could’ve got through to the front door. I thought you would’ve been after the old, surprise visit. That’s a real kick..

Thanks for this! Incredibly interesting. This was our recent alternative Xmas movie.

myop due to the High Level of CDN Content used by Sean, Sean would likely fulfill the CDN content rules laid down for primetime television.
