Starring Alexander Skarsgård, Margot Robbie, Christoph Waltz, Samuel L. Jackson, John Hurt and Djimon Hounsou, and directed by David Yates (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 & Part 2), TARZAN will be released in cinemas on 8th July 2016.
It has been years since the man once known as Tarzan (Alexander Skarsgård) left the jungles of Africa behind for a gentrified life as John Clayton III, Lord Greystoke, with his beloved wife, Jane (Margot Robbie) at his side. Now, he has been invited back to the Congo to serve as a trade emissary of Parliament, unaware that he is a pawn in a deadly convergence of greed and revenge, masterminded by the Belgian, Captain Leon Rom (Christoph Waltz). But those behind the murderous plot have no idea what they are about to unleash.

This interview is weird in my ear phones. The interviewer is in my right ear and the actors I can hear in both. I don't know how this happen. Definitely when they recorded it, somebody made a mistake.

Alexander Skarsgard has a name of a Norse mythology realm
It's weird how here in the Nordic countries it seems like old pulp hero comics and stuff like Tarzan are more popular than american Superheroes (or atleast when I was a kid).
I'm finnish and I had never seen a DC or Marvel comicbook in my life (until I bought few from Germany) few years ago.
Yet, I have dozens of Phantom comics and they are still sold in stores here.
Of course Donald Duck comics and stuff like Asterix, Tintin, Lucky Luke and various manga are popular too.
That's weird.
Oh, I remember even watching Asterix and Obelix TV series when I was a kid :D They were on almost daily on random channels.

Not really.. Alexander is Swedish, has an american accent but speaks with a british accent in the movie. Margot is Australian and speaks with an american accent in the movie

Such a good film.
Knowing the true history I found the movie extremely saddening.
The part with elephants was moving, i felt human beings are such a plague on this earth, the colonial greed is overwhelming sometimes.
What about the colonization of the Congo? A lot of Congolese people suffered and got torture under King leopolds orders. The King of Belgium was a sick man. This movie is mostly about how Tarzan saved the Congo from slavery and King leopold massive murders (for all the ressources found in Congo). In the movie Tarzan basically saved the Congo (is reality it wasn't true). In reality it was Samuel Jackson character that actually help Leopold lose his "private property of the Congo".
Congolese people never stopped suffering from the colonizers until this day. Google lithium & cobalt mines.
